I've been with my girlfriend for 5 nights and it was quite nice. An experience I would never forget. I thought that staying in the "old city" in a riad is going to be spectacular. For most of the people staying in a 5star hotel is spectacular, but if you're coming to Marrakech you gotta come to see the old town. The only negative thing that I can say about this riad is that the address is wrong typed: it's Der Ajama not Derb Jamaa (pay attention because they both exist and they aren't near). We had a difficulty in finding the address because the staff doesn't speak french very good and they didn't understand what was the problem.

We stayed here for 4 nights and we couldn't have asked for much more. The location was perfect, in the heart of the old town and a short walk to most attractions however still relatively quiet and peaceful. The decor made for a relaxing atmosphere and the beds were comfy. The place was clean and well kept and the breakfast in the morning was brilliant! The roof terrace was a lovely place to get some afternoon sun and the housekeeper made us feel most welcome even if we didn't speak the same language. Overall an exellent place to stay.

Mina the Woman who takes care about Dar Aicha is fantástic, she helps for everything and takes care about the guests. The Hotel for the price is really good, of course no Luxus and the comfort is compared to the price, but the place is nice, has all necessary, is very clean... a very good choice.
For me it needs a bit of little restructuring/painting, but honestly for the price it is really nice and charming.

This is not a good place to stay.. NO AIRCON... In a back street, very dark at night. There is no reception so you will be left alone in the guest house all by yourselves. Stay away trust me. Not good. .................also no wifi in room

So near the hustle of the old town you can walk there in under 20 mins - although a 2 min taxi ride is preferable in the heat!

You can faintly hear the drums fromJjemel El Efna on the roof terrace when the breeze is blowing in the right direction. It has great views over the palm trees to the snow topped mountains & is a great place to escape the friendly yet frenetic energy of Marrakech.

I definitely recommend this place as your base when exploring this amazing old city.
