Went by cab from our hotel to the gardens. Hotel arranged tickets the night before to avoid any large lines. the gardens are quite beautiful, even if tourists have carved their names into some of the trees. Plan how you will get back to your hotel ahead of time. Taxis outside know most visitors are tourists, and aggressively try to overcharge, and not allow you to hail a cab from the street passing by. Avoid this "highway robbery" by pre arranging transportation with the hotel you are staying at.
Garden cafe serves excellent food at reasonable prices.

If you only have time for 1 visitor attraction in Marrakech make it le Jardin Majorelle! And don't overlook the YSL exhibition. Even my husband who has absolutely no interest in fashion, was wowed by it. The small Berber exhibition is excellent too, especially the display of jewellery and clothing. Top tip: don't bother to queue for your ticket at the main entrance. To avoid the crowds, walk down the road to the ticket office at the new YSL exhibition hall.

Very nice and beautiful place. There is a queue for the tickets but in spray of water, one adult ticket is 70dh. The gardens are not that big so you won't get tired. There are plenty of benches. Beautiful house. And if you need some food or get thirsty there is a restaurant. Worth visiting.
