location wise this is a good hotel, the rooms are clean and maintained. The towels could have been softer but we had been touring Morocco and all the towles are a bit rough, so maybe a local thing.
All the staff except for the dining area were polite and friendly, it seemed the ogre in charge cast his miserable attitude on all.
First night we were tired so decided on the buffet instead of going out to find something. Big mistake. The food was poor at best, the worst we had in Morocco and not enough choice for a buffet; only 3 items to pick from. When it came to the dessert they only had creamy cakes left and I avoid dairy in warm climates. I was told that's all. When I said fine knock off one third of the price and I accept they miraculously found a complete uncut cake.
Breakfast was also spartan.
I would like to give them 4 stars but because of the restaurant and the attitude I cannot do so.
Also you have to pay to use the room safe?More
