When you step through the ancient front door of El Fenn you enter a maze of connected beautiful Moroccan houses and courtyards which lead to the reception where the friendly front desk staff will check you in and help you find your way through the Riad. The rooms are beautifully decorated in Moroccan style and offer all the modern amenities the modern traveller may expects. The staff is very friendly and will do anything to make your stay a pleasant one. The rooftop terras and restaurant are good places to enjoy Moroccan food and the views of the Atlas Mountains is stunning. We had two delicious lunches there. The pools, especially the one in the larger courtyard is a good place to relax and cool down after a long day wandering through the Souks.
I recommend a treatment in the Hammam followed by Moroccan mint tea next to the Hammam pool.
The evening menu should perhaps have a few more mains on after eaten there a few times we felt we had not enough choices... but, you are in Marrakech and restaurants are on every corner, of which there are many in the Medina.
We had a great stay in El Fenn and we are already planning our visit for next year.More
