Very cosy place and pleasant staff in thé heart of Souk (as it's located in a very narrow street I don't recommend walk late night).
We had a room at the ground floor, bit noisy outside but I think is Riads'style. Clean and big ensuite bathroom. Staff were always available to attend our needs and offer Moroccan tea to relax in the hall. I will definitely go back, Merci beaucoup!

Hidden away in a back street 5-10 minutes from the main square this surprisingly quiet Riad is an excellent retreat from the bustling streets.

The first time you try to find it you _will_ need to either need luck or local knowledge, (see photo of view from outside, hint: turn right down the alley with the ISIS spa). The Riad happily arranges transfers from the airport however bear in mind that if you arrive in the evening the taxi won't be able to drive into the square and will likely refer you to a porter.

The Riad itself is beautifully decorated with a central roofless area going up a couple of floors. There are areas for relaxing in peace outside your room and doors and windows can be fully opened to appreciate the good weather. The staff are always on hand to greet you and are happy to help with directions or provide a tourist map of the city.

Breakfast is included and excellent, if not a little overwhelming the first day. Serving tea, coffee, croissants, different types of bread, jam/butter, yoghurt and pancakes you may well struggle to find room for lunch!

Rooms are cleaned daily with the rest of the Riad well kept and tidy throughout.

Stunning little riad right in the middle of the action. You are a stones throw from the main market square yet our room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop! The rooms were beautifully done out in a traditional style and had air con which was much needed. The staff were lovely but didn't speak much English (we spoke broken French and got by fine) and they made us a lovely continental breakfast each day. The hot tub on the roof was a nice touch - take a bottle of champagne / wine from duty free to enjoy whilst soaking it in one afternoon! Really loved staying here - was very picturesque and great for couples. Only minor thing is that the room could do with a little TLC (quick bit of paint etc) but it wasn't really noticeable. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who wants to be close to the action but also wants to escape it for some peace and quiet whenever they want!

Room Tip: Rooms on first / ground floor have better wifi. Definitely add breakfast as an option as it is a beautiful place to eat in the morning

We spent two nights there in May 2015 and had a wonderful stay. The top floor room was great and since the Riad wasn't too crowded we pretty much had the whole top floor area to ourselves. The local staff is so nice and helpful, they really make you feel you are staying at a genuine local spot.

We found the place to be a real deal compared to what we paid at more luxurious place. The Riad is gorgeous and serene.

Small drawback, while it's a 3min walk to the main square it is to be noted that like most Riad, you cant really get there by cab. Also, when streets get crowded on weekends, the walk becomes a bit longer. Also the wifi network is spotty on the top floor. But overall a terrific stay, I'd go back and send family and friends without hesitation.

You cross the snake charmers & acrobats in Jamaa el Fna, wander through the crazy hustle & bustle of the souks in the Marrakech madina, then duck in a side alley, pass a traditional wood-fired oven bakery and under an arch... and arrive at Riad Maipa.

Centrally tucked in the heart of Marrakech, the riad is a peaceful oasis just steps away from the chaos that is the medina. Quiet, friendly, ornate, exotic. Mint tea under the orange tree in the courtyard. Birds chirping with a faint wisp of calls to prayer drifting down. Wow.

Beautiful rooms, clean bathrooms, free wifi, room service, friendly staff. My #1 destination next time I return to Morocco.
