Stayed here from the 21st - 29th June for my first visit to Marrakech and Morocco. I was not disappointed at all with this lovely friendly boutique hotel/Ryiad. From the moment we got there the staff and owner Tom and Norah were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very comfortable with great extras like the bath robe as a nice touch. The pool was a nice size not too big and quiet and tranquil with service at the pool for great salads, sandwiches, pizza and drinks. We paid for half board and there was always a choice from the menu and the food was very fresh, and cooked to a very good standard that I couldn't fault it in any way.
The location is ideal in the royal quarter of the Kasbah within easy slow 10 min walk to the main square and souks. We went out early in the morning after breakfast at 8am so we could be back around the pool by 1pm as it was 42°F most days so good to have a nice place to relax and cool down at out of the heat. I would recommend this boutique hotel to anyone as it is big enough to have a lot of great service and well maintained decor of a high graded hotel but small enough with low amount of rooms to feel you are feeling like a valued house guest.
Thank you for a great stay and look forward to next May when I stay again!

Les Borjs is a wonderful Riad, created out of 7 adjoined properties and restored completely by hand with no power tools. The worksmanship is excellent, food is lovely and the staff are excellent. We don't often visit the same place twice as we like to try new places out, but we'd definitely go back here!

We don't normally write reviews but felt we really needed to say something about this place! Where do we start? This place is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped inside we were amazed at how peaceful and calm this place is considering the all the chaos right on its doorstep!

We stayed in one of the suites which was lovely. The room was quite spacious and clean. The only problem we had was the odd smell from the bath - which I would blame other factors not so much the cleaning staff.

The staff at the front desk keenly helped us arrange tours and guides for us and eagerly helped us make bookings with the spa. If you end up staying here and trying the spa (because your body might ask for it with the heat and all the walking) the best part is the hammam although I wish there was a better massage at the end of the treatment. We did go in for massages in the days following and felt relaxed enough but we knew going in that we weren't exactly on a spa vacation.

We loved the staff! A shout out to all of the lovely ladies who were pleasant from the start of their shifts right to the end! And Tom, what a lovely person! It was very kind of you to take the time out and come chat to us.

All in all, given its location, facilities, attention to detail, and staff we would have no hesitation to come back with our children! Another winning factor for this place is that we were looking for a place which was clean, close to attractions, with a pool and reasonable spa; and this place met all of our criteria.

I can't say enough good things about this Marrakech oasis. We stayed at Les Borjs de la Kasbah for two nights, left for a few days, came back for one night, left again, and returned for a final night. Each time we returned, the staff greeted us like we were old friends, and it felt so sincere.

The hotel is walking distance from most attractions, the food is great, they have a stocked bar, a wonderful pool, and each room is spacious and opens onto a central courtyard.

Any request we had the staff helped us out, and though we didn't use the spa services, they looked great. I would recommend this hotel highly, and thank the staff for a lovely home away from home during our Moroccan vacation.

I really recommend this Ryad, the place is like in the pictures, very clean, we had a early flight and they brought us breakfast to our room at 5am, they go beyond on customer service. The hamman and scrubbing bath is marvelous.

Thank you for this review Rosy,
Again, customer service rates highly, which is of the utmost importance to us and something we never tire of hearing about (as with most praise!) Early morning room service is also something we do when needed and it's all part of the service. Nothing is too much for our team at Les Borjs. As for the Hammam, if you've never had one it is indeed 'marvelous' and something to not be missed.
Thanks again and all the best,
Tom (director and joint owner)
