“Marrakech, what an experience”
Reviewed June 15, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We had a wonderful time in this riad in Marrakech. The Riad was perfect for our family of 6. The interior was very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. We usually spent the days out and about in the town, looking at the sights, going to the square, the souks, eating out. We also had a camel ride and a day trip out to the Valley of Oureka, which were both organised by Christian. The rest of the time we spent at the Riad chilling in the many relaxing spaces in the riad. My husbands favourite was the seating area by the courtyard, mine was the roof terrace, the childrens' was the pool area and also the rest of the riad, which we had all to ourselves. Even though the pool is small the children (14, 12, 10, 10) made very good use of it. Hassania prepared our breakfast every morning and cooked for us one evening, which was delicious. She is very friendly and we had many lovely chats.
If there weren't so many places in the world that we still want to see we would definitely come back here.

“Excellent Riad - faultless!”
Reviewed May 12, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Really wonderful experience staying at this Riad. Beautiful interior, clean, more than comfortable and spacious (even better than photograph)s. Superb roof terrace and plunge pool, and all set in quiet street just inside the Medina. Excellent help and support from Christian who guided us to some great restaurants, Hammam experience and organised trip to Atlas Mountains, which were all fantastic- thankyou! All supported by the brilliant Hassiana who is the nicest and most helpful person to have around. Provided great breakfast every day at our convenience, lovely to talk to (in French!) and just a smashing person. All made this one of the best holidays. We will be back!

“Gorgeous Riad, Excellent holiday!”
Reviewed March 10, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We stayed here for 5 nights for my mums 60th Birthday at the end of February. It was myself and partner, my sister and partner and our parents. It was FABULOUS! We were very lucky with the weather which was mid 20s during the day, dropping to around 12 in the evening and made good use of the roof terrace and BBQ!
The Riad is simply stunning, there are 3 en suite bedrooms, which were made up daily and were faultless. Very comfortable beds, constant hot water, towels etc changed daily. 2 lounge areas, one with a TV and a mountain of DVDs in English and French and the other next to the plunge pool (VERY cold in February)!
The housekeeper was charming and extremely helpful...slight hitch for us was that she only speaks French and sadly none of us did, but she was warm and friendly and we figured it out. The breakfast she cooked daily was lovely, and we could choose our time which was another bonus. She is also available to book for dinner, cooked by herself at the Riad which we opted for and really enjoyed. Her cooking is amazing!
The host, Christian was extremely helpful as well and couldn't so enough for us. He booked us meals and researched day trips etc for us, he also translated any important information to the housekeeper.
Overall we had an amazing time and would strongly recommend this to others looking for a bit of luxury and calm in the craziness of Marrakech!
The only negative comment I can put is that throughout our stay the Wifi didn't work which was a pain as I had some work to do...but I suppose that's one way of making you leave work behind.
Great Holiday!

“Wonderful riad ideal for a group of friends”

The Riad itself is beautiful and well maintained. The roof terrace is amazing, with a sunbathing area, chill out, dining and kitchen area. Perfect for relaxation after a day sight seeing or just time spent in the sun. All the rooms were spotless, each with their own bathroom and air conditioning, which came in very handy. There is also a Jacuzzi- type plunge pool in the court yard which is great for cooling down in. However, what made the holiday was the lovely Hassania the housekeeper. She was wonderful. From preparing a tasty breakfast in the morning to haggling with taxi drivers for us, she was a real gem. So if you choose this Riad please treat her well.

There isn't a downside to the Riad itself, however it is not in the best part of the Medina. The good thing is that it is easy to find as it is just inside the Medina walls. Just outside the walls though you'll find what looks like the local rubbish dump. Not very pleasant but you get used to it. So if you're looking for a beautiful place to stay and are happy to live amongst the locals rather than some hotel far removed from the real Marrakech, this is the place for you.

Oh and a big shout out to Christian at M2Maroc who was always there for us.

“Truly amazing”

Where do I start? Our stay at Riad Saada was perfect. It’s located within the medina walls, so is an ideal place to stay for anyone who wants to explore the souks and the Jemaa el fna. The riad’s interior is beyond beautiful- each room is decorated exquisitely, in classic Moroccan style, with a subtle French feel. On the ground floor there is a beautiful plunge pool, which is surrounded with plants, which are cared for daily by the housekeeper, Hassania. Hassania is THE MOST perfect host. Despite our poor french skills (thus a large language barrier), she was more than happy to show us around the souks, to answer all of our silly questions, and to give us the recipe for her delicious chicken tajine! (she even gave us the secret ingredient to her fruit salad and let us take some home!). I think it would be fair to say that Hassania is one of the many highlights of Riad Saada: she tidied up all three of the bedrooms and made the beds everyday, despite messy teenagers taking over two of them!; she prepared breakfast every morning and it was flawless, you absolutely have to try her omelettes!; on our last evening at the riad we were all blown away with the effort Hassania put into our last meal, and the way she presented it up on the roof terrace, which is also happens to beautiful. Christian, was also fantastic- he arranged two day trips for us, one into the palmarais area to ride camels, and the other was a day driving through Desert Agafay, followed by a visit to a pool up in the mountains with lunch. Both trips are a must! Christian is also great for recommending restaurants and being a general guide to Marrakech!

Despite it's large size, the riad still has a lovely homely feel, yet it still maintains the ability to remind you that you're in luxury! All in all, this Riad is fantastic place to stay in Marrakech, and we all preferred this to The Sofitel!

“A home from home - highly recommended”

Stayed here with 4 friends and we had a great stay at this riad - would highly recommended it to anyone!
Pre-arrival communication with the host was easy, he quickly answered all our questions and even arranged an airport pickup for us.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Hassania who keeps the riad spotlessly clean and also gave us a lovely breakfast every morning.
It was amazing to have the whole place to ourselves and it cost less than we would have paid for 3 rooms in a guesthouse. The private roof terrace is ideal for sunbathing in the day and having a few drinks at sunset. There is even a plunge pool to cool off after a hot day exploring the nearby souks.

We would definitely stay here again when we return to Marrakech.
