A great place for a 3 night stay. The staff were welcoming and very accommodating. Close to the medina and an easy walk to many great sights. Rooms were simple and tasteful. The staff accommodated breakfast times for us so we could easily come and go for our tours or other plans.

Excellent riad with a good central-medina location in the heart of Marrakech. Aziz, the general manager, is terrific and was an incredible resource for sightseeing, directions, restaurant recommendations, etc., throughout our stay. Breakfast at the riad is quite good, if a bit carb-heavy (fine by me, but I know some people prefer a lighter breakfast with more protein). The riad itself is in great shape and is about a 5-minute walk from the central medina square. Good restaurants and plenty of sights and shops are a stone's throw away. The only area that could be improved was the Wi-Fi. It was down for a day and was slow with lots of service interruptions when it was up, so if you are adamant on having a strong connection during your stay, you may want to ask about the current state of service in advance.

The staff here were very hospitable and aimed to make your stay comfortable, safe and informative. Laurent provided us with tips of where to go and how much things should be ie. horse drawn carriage and cabs. Aziz was sweet- told us what places were good to eat and visit as well as places to visit in Morocco in the future.

It was our first time in Morocco and we were new to the concept of a riad. However, the first choice turned to be really good. The most important is this riad's size. It literally has only 4 guest rooms which makes the stay very personal unlike in huge chain hotels. The location is also great - in the middle of the medina - within a few minute walk to the Main Square.

The rooms are well maintained though some refurbishing could help to make them look really great.

Still the atmosphere is made by the people and here we'd like to thank all the staff for being very helpful in providing so much useful info about the area, always offering some drinks & refreshments, etc. The biggest praise goes to Aziz but also of course to Lauent - the owner.

We bought a day trip to the mountains from them and it was a great idea - as we got a local Berber guide who was genuinely interested in showing us his village, do some trekking in the mountains and not drag us to shops or other tourist places.

All in all what made this stay really enjoyable was the attitude of the guys already mentioned. The feeling that they treat you as a guest and not only a tourist who you can get the money from.

Do go there if you look for a small, quite and a welcoming place in the middle of the hassle & bustle of the medina.

First off, this place isn't the prettiest riad you'll find, we had occasion to see several other riads and some of them were a bit nicer than this one. However what makes this a 5 star place is the people. They are very friendly and helpful and always want to make sure your needs are met.

We stayed for 4 nights. The faucet in the shower and in the sink dripped unless you really turned it hard, and the place could use a bit of a freshening up, but these are small things in the grand scheme of things. The breakfast every morning was great - you get yogurt, bread, toast, fresh orange juice, coffee and/or tea. Other breakfasts you get these layered pancake things that were pretty good as well.

The location of the Riad is very good, very quick to walk to the square. It is also a short walk to an area where you can get picked up if you're arranging any tours or things like that.

We ended up doing the pickup/dropoff from the airport along with the meal. The meal our first night at the Riad was very good! The owner, Lauren, took great pleasure in ensuring we had enough wine to drink with our meal. The guy we worked with most was Said, who was very helpful and had a smile all the time.

When you arrive, Lauren or one of the staff will walk you through some maps and the location and things to do. Pretty helpful. He also will personally walk you to the square to show you how to get there and how to get back.

Highly recommend this place, just don't expect the rooms to be perfect and you'll be 100% happy!
