You feel like you are at a Maroccan family living room. Service was a bit slow, but food was good but a little overpriced.

Located in a house just off the square on the right hand side. No wifi available. Atmosphere is homely and handsomely decorated, but the lighting is quite dark. Drinks were average price but once we received them realized they were a much smaller size than all the restaurants we went to, but the entree prices seemed to be higher than average. Service is very slow but friendly -we waited over 20 minutes for our soda and water, and decided not to order any food.
All the dishes and silverware looked very clean in contrast to most restaurants.

It has been said already here, this is a home cooked Moroccan meal in a family home, and a delicious one at that! If you're looking for the fancy waiter and alcohol then you should look elsewhere.

The menu is in French but easy to make out if you've brushed up a bit and there is a wait time as everything is made from scratch from fresh produce from the market. You can order and then come back for your meal 45 mins later if you like. The man of the house speaks a bit of English if needs must.

We had 2 veg soups to start which were very good and then the chicken pastilla (which was amazing) and the beef meatballs with potatoes and tomato sauce (also very good).

Great Moroccan home experience. If you've come to Meknes (away from the western comforts of Fes and Marrakech) then you might as well go the extra bit and have a lovely home cooked meal.

We went to this restaurant twice. One time for lunch and one time for dinner. We had a great experience there. It's a family run restaurant. Yes, if one doesn't make a reservation a head of time, it can take a long time for them to cook. Because they start to cook your food after you order it (from scratch). We had Pastille and chicken Tajin with figs. They were both amazingly good, The chicken was very juicy and tender. For dinner, we asked them to cook Lamb Tajin for us(not on their menu), and it was very well cooked. We had good experiences at this restaurant. :)
