This riad was very lovely, well located and the staff were amazing. I would definitely recommend it for a stay in Meknes. The rooms were spacious, well decorated and really clean. The road was renovated completely a little while back while keeping all traditional fixtures. This place is a gem

One of the nicest rooms that we stayed at in Morocco. The place was redone as a riad in 2007, and taken over by new management recently - the same folks that run the excellent Chez Pierre near the Dades Gorge. Young Mohammed in the restaurant gave us great service, taking the time to show us to our room after supper, and then running back with our dessert, which we had elected to forego without telling him. Yup, I ate it anyways. My wife is gluten free, an d they accommodated her for both supper and breakfast. Another great recommendation by our guide Mark Willenbrock.

We were happily surprised by the beauty of this ancient building's interior. The tilework in the public rooms is outstanding, and our room was spacious and comfortable. It's a hike up to the roof for the view and pool, but worth the climb. (The weather was too cool for the pool, but we enjoyed the sweeping view of Meknes.) Our two dinners at the riad's restaurant were excellent, thanks to Marad's fine cooking. Youssef, the manager, is a delight, and it was important to him that we enjoyed our two night stay. We did! Highly recommended.

Beautifully appointed traditional riad situated in great position in the medina. Thankyou very much to SAHARA ATLAS TOURS for recommending this riad in Meknes. Comfortable large quiet rooms . Very clean rooms and bathroom. Food alone is well worth the stay. Amazing Chef. Staff very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend a stay in this riad. Would certainly stay again.
