A very quiet and pleasant escape from the frenetic pace of the medina. It's close to the shopping areas yet far enough away down a quiet alley to be in another world. Very nice people running it, and we were well taken care of. The Riad is small but cosy, and we would definitely consider it again if we were in Rabat.

A really good little oasis. Hard to find with a little alley coming off the street. Asked a nearby local who took us to the door, then didn't ask for payment, a very nice surprise. But it is a very upmarket sort of Dar that is quite calming and quiet. Renovated in a nice modern/old school kind of way. Small plunge pool. Good rooftop where you can wash and dry your clothes. I don't think they charged us for it either. The manager gave us some good local tips. The regular staff were very friendly, but it would have been nice if he replaced the lightbulb in the bathroom as asked rather than just saying he did, odd. Anyway a good breakfast, free WiFi, good beds and an all round pleasant stay. Recommended but not cheap at all.

We stayed 3 nights at Dar Zen, and we enjoyed our stay. We booked the Jade room (the biggest of the 3). The Medina is very safe at night, we came back from a wedding at 3am with no problem.

We liked: this is a beautiful and quiet place in the Medina (5 min walk from taxis and cars: you can't go inside the Medina with a car).

We disliked: the rooms are very small and they miss a separate bathroom.

This riad is in a very convenient location. The rooms are cozy although not very big, at least ours had the tab in the same space with the bedroom. Very kind owners and nice breakfast. Keep in mind it is difficult to find it and impossible to get a car or taxi to the entrance.

Beautiful and peaceful little place in La Medina of Rabat, few minutes away from the souk and near the Kasbah. I was we friends and we occupied the three rooms for 3 nights. The rooms are stylish, comfortable and well furnished, I loved the sink! Breakfast in the lovely kitchen has been a time to look forward to, it has been fantastic every day. Superlative service from Amine and Hayat. They have been very helpul and always smiling. It was also a pleasure to meet Maryse who is running the place top notch! Hope to go back soon.
