Had a 5 min scan on TripAdvisor for lunch today. I felt like grilled seafood (of course) and found Selfish to be a convenient 5 min drive from where we were staying.
It’s not a fancy place out front by the road but it’s fine. The secret garden in back (open for dinner) looks lovely.
Food is excellent , I was there with my Dad who’d never had clams or Razor clams so we got a plate to share ...garlic , white wine , sweet , not over cooked and delicious!
Seared tuna for main was great , perfectly done , the pina colada sauce still troubles me (maybe just my taste) but not unpleasant at all and the local veg and salad were amazing .
My Dad had Dorada fillet with lemon herb sauce , impeccable.
Some of the reviews here suggest it’s on the pricey side , could be compared to the local market but for me the plates were very nicely presented and this compared quality wise to decent French /Italian Kitchens. I didn’t think it was expensive at all .
Service is very friendly.
Thanks for a lovely lunch
