We had a pleasant stay at Olive Grove for one night after a 34 hour journey to get to Windhoek. Pool is a bit small to swim in but comfortable room, nice breakfast and friendly staff! Close to restaurants in a quiet neighbourhood.

A good place to start the Namibian adventure. Clean rooms, good breakfast. Friendly staff. Also serving dinner at extra charge. Lovely garden and plenty of parking space, but somewhat tight to get in and out of the parking areas. Good wifi connectivity.

After coming from safari and several nights camping, Olive grove was an absolute Oasis! Set in a good part of town, very close to bars and restaurants, it's a very stylish, and very comfortable little hotel. A big room, good warm showers, very clean and comfortable. The highlight of the stay though was the breakfast which is where they really stand apart from other hotels we stayed at in Namibia. Great cooked menu options, with good quality products, well prepared, as well as very good continental buffet. Other hotels should take note!

Only negatives were a little noisy being downstairs and next to the breakfast area in room 1, and that the pool isn't big enough to swim in, just good for a cool down if it get's too hot.

This is a great place to stop. We stayed here on our first night in Namibia before doing our self-drive trip to Victoria Falls. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable; the interior design is interesting with all the concrete and the bath is huge. Location is good too; Joe's Beer House is literally down the road, walking distance really but we chose to drive at night. Breakfast was very nice and met my gluten free requirements.

We arrived after a 36 hour journey and although the welcome was very 'relaxed'(!) we had a good overnight stay here at the start of our holiday. The room (we had a luxury room) was large, with a good shower. It had a safe, and plenty of shelving and storage space. When we returned from dinner there had been a turndown with port - which we didn't get anywhere else - which was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable. My flannel had ants in it so I didn't use that, but the other towels and linen were all clean. Yes, there was some noise from both the gates towards the end of the evening but I was so tired it didn't bother me that much so I think it must have stopped after everyone went to bed.
We had a good evening meal there, tasty & good value; breakfast the next morning wasn't of the same quality. The buffet part was nice with lots of local produce and home made bread, but I had to send my cooked breakfast back as the fried eggs were stone cold.
Staff were friendly and all in all I'd recommend this as a good place to stay for a night or two.
