Stayed for a few days at this hotel, while visiting the University of Namibia. It is very calm and peaceful, with a welcoming and friendly staff. The room was spacious with sofa, armchair, desk, air conditioning which also heated, reasonably priced mini-bar and was kept well clean. The hotel restaurant is quiet, and serves a good, though not extravagant, breakfast, and good quality evening meals (I did not try lunches). There is a gym and pool, though the latter was closed during the winter (and not needed, the weather was too cold!). Would stay again if I needed to visit Windhoek again.
There is effectively no public transport in Windhoek, but the hotel has a good link to a local taxi provider (70 N$ around Windhoek for one person, 50 N$ each if more), and local taxis are always going by, for a cheaper but perhaps less reliable ride. There is also some parking within the hotel grounds if needed.More
