we selected this place from the internet, the webpage pictures are attracting to go; however, there are better places in Windhoek........
the rooms are spacey, the service is very good, people are very friendly and helpful; it's a calm place for relaxing after a long trip through Namibia

I visited Casa Blanca as a stopover in Windhoek on the way to Waterberg Plateau National Park. It’s easy to find, quiet, has spacious rooms and all the essentials one would require from a B ‘n B. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

Though the hotel is quite difficult to find due to the poor and small maps, , once you are at the hotel it is fabulous, secure and the staff are friendly.

The beds are new or appears to be, the room is clean and extremely spacious and the breakfast was wonderful.

I would not hesitate to use the Casa Blanca Again

First time to Africa...after a brutal 19 hour flight and sleepless 30 hours, we were welcomed warmly and shown to our room...it was lovely. We stayed 5 nights before our safari and again 1 night at the end. The staff and servers (breakfast and dinner) were helpful, friendly and accommodating. I was able to store my carry on bag with them while we were on safari. I definitely recommend Casa Blanca!

We spent our first night in Namibia at this hotel, The bed, shower was clean but the tiled floors hadn't been mopped in a while. Hot shower and internet worked in the room.
Breakfast was good with made to order eggs, yoghurt, fruit, cereal. Breakfast staff were attentive, friendly and efficient.
Location is not central so you have to take a taxi to get downtown for restaurants as nothing around this hotel. The hotel should offer a complimentary shuttle service as other hotels do.
Unfortunately the receptionist that we interacted with on our day of arrival really let this hotel down and put us off staying here again. She was inefficient and unhelpful. We asked her to book a taxi and restaurant at specific times. She booked the taxi for the restaurant time and didn't book the restaurant!
When we requested she call the restaurant she said she didn't know their number even though she had the internet open on the office pc and could have looked it up. We asked that she call the taxi back to come as soon as possible (as the time she booked it for was later than we had requested), she called them and told us they were coming soon. We ended up waiting the whole time til after the original incorrect time she booked. During this waiting time we asked if she could book a different taxi service (as we had watched many taxis drive past the hotel) but she said she didn't know any other taxis.
We are rating this hotel as average due to the location, dirty room floors and the receptionist who provided a poor service, otherwise we would of given the hotel very good. I would suggest additional customer service training is provided and a free shuttle car to take customers to restaurants.
If in Windhoek again we would try another hotel.
