The memorial itself is beautiful. There is some information about the events available as well, but I found myself spending most of my time simply looking, thinking, and feeling a strong sense of sadness and loss.

This is an other experience to learn more about death of 10 Belgian soldiers who lost their lives in Rwanda Genocide in 1994 while they tried all they can to protect ex Rwanda Prime Minister Uwiringiyimana.

This memorial in the heart of the city explains it all.
These 10 Belgian peace keeping soldiers were savagely slaughtered as many hundreds of thousands innocent Rwandese men, women and children...
A must-visit.
