Very comfortable property well furnished and the kitchen is well equipped with just about everything anyone may need in a modern kitchen. The bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and the washrooms are also spacious enough; the only downside is that there was not a single mirror in the whole house and no wardrobes either for one to hang jackets or a few clothes. Having travelled with teenagers this was a big challenge. The property is in a nice and quiet area a distance away from the main road and is secured with a gate. A few plumbing and electricity issues were encountered but these were rectified as soon as possible. The person that lives on site also offered help when needed. If one is looking for a nice quiet place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, this property is highly recommended.

Caroline's property is a very comfortable, clean and well-equipped home with all of the necessities one would expect. Kitchen was well furnished with high end appliances and cookware, utensils, etc. There was even bread and milk in the fridge, bananas on the table and coffee and tea in the cupboard when we arrived. The bedrooms were all comfortable and the bathrooms were comparable to a North American standard. No issues with rodents, cockroaches, ants or any other bugs which can be a problem at times in tropical areas. The property is very secure with a perimeter fence and gate; as well there was somebody who stayed at the property to assist with security.
One benefit of the property was location; it is very accessible to Entebbe which was convenient for shopping, as well as beach access and outings. Kampala is an extremely busy city so we found Entebbe to have all we needed and we were able to keep our time in Kampala to a minimum. However, for the days we traveled into the city, or through it to go elsewhere, we found that we were conveniently located for that as well.
Of course, being Africa, there were a number of power outages so we were very thankful for the gas stove. As well, there were water outages a number of times, however there was a backup supply of water to the house so we were never without. We had a number of plumbing issues amongst a few other concerns while we stayed, but we found the homeowner very happy to assist us. She was very prompt in having our concerns addressed for which we were very appreciative. We truly enjoyed our stay, and found it to be a property we would certainly consider returning to in future.
