Biyem Hotel was our sweet home away from home and a base while travelling around Uganda.

We travel extensively around the world and we must say that we have not experienced such kind and helpful staff anywhere else so far - a receptionist Charity, all waitresses/waiters, all management, drivers, ..... and the cleaning lady Jeny - she did an excellent job, also always washed our clothes and bags quickly, very well and with a smile.

The meals are lovely, even we as vegetarians had some choice. Having meals in a big garden was very nice.

We highly recommend Biyem hotel and if we are ever back in Uganda we will definitely stay there again.

Visit a nearby church and experience their lovely ceremonies, they will be very happy to have visitors.

Thank you for all!

Veru&Petra

Dear Valued Guests,

Having you here was such a pleasure, every staff who interacted with you was always left with a sense of joy. You literally came as guests and left as friends.

Thank you for leaving such a warm and wonderful review. Reviews to us are like treasure, because they are something to look back to, they help us give potential guests an idea of the hotel, as well as motivate us to keep up the good work or improve in case of any flaws.

When you left, we could all feel your absence, that was something which showed us that you had become part of Biyem family.

It will be a delight to see you again soon.

Once again thank you for choosing Biyem Hotel!

Best wishes,

If I could give more than 5 stars it’d b a 7. Lovely little hotel . Very clean and tidy rooms. The manager and staff very approachable and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. One of the best WiFi signals in a hotel. It is very safe but u r advised to keep your passports with reception. I was most impressed with attention to detail by the chamber maids as my room was always spotless . Also you don’t get a free laundry service anywhere else but Biyem !! Plenty of safe and secure parking for your car . There is a well stocked bar and restaurant with a good chef . I mostly enjoyed the grilled fish . Only downside is he got carried away with the amount of salt he put in his dishes . The area is very accessible and within reach of the city center with loads of Taxis and boda bodas. I am most grateful for the free room upgrade I was compd and the lovely xmas package from the team .. Many thanx . If you are reading this review and undecided!! Trust me when I tell you to look no further.

Dear Valued Guest,

Let me start by saying that your review has overwhelmed everyone with joy. It is such a pleasure to know that hard work pays off. It has brought a smile on each staff and fueled us to keep moving towards excellence while fixing our flaws. In fact I have printed the review and gave it to each department so that they would also know their effort is appreciated.

It was more than a pleasure hosting you here, we like it when our guests are treated well and feel at home.

We are glad you liked the Christmas gift, seeing our guests happy gives us a sense of satisfaction.

Hopefully you will visit us again, but until then all the best!

Biyem hotel is a hidden gem in kampala city, rubaga division.

If ure in kampala looking for a quiet place with wonderful scenery to relax, biyem hotel is your answer.

Rates range from $ 20 to $ 80 bed and breakfast, they have a wonderful chef, and meals aint expensive either.

I had a wonderful stay, would highly recommend it.

We really loved this place. Comfortable room, good wifi, lovely, helpful staff all at a really good price. The only downside is that it is on the other side of town from the Kololo area where all the nice restaurants, bars are and the traffic is so bad in the evenings that it sometimes took us over an hour to get home. It was probably still worth it though, and if you're not interested in heading out in Kololo then definitely stay here.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for appreciating your stay in our hotel and giving BiYEM 5 stars for the services and amenities. The greatest compliment you could give us is to consider BIYEM Hotel a ''home'', you came back every night despite the distance from the restaurants and bars you visited and the traffic jam.

Our Asset is mostly known as an oasis of tranquility in the middle of Mengo area with its well known historical sites like Namirembe & Rubaga Cathedrals, Kasubi Tombs, Kabaka's Parliament & Lubiri Kabaka Palace, the Gadafi Mosque and last but not least the prestigious Makerere University.

Imagine, our hotel is only 15 minutes drive to the city center and a 20 minutes drive to Kololo via 4 different directions, unfortunately we cannot control the delays & hustle caused by the traffic jam, but we still apologize for the inconvenience and sincerely appreciate you for promoting our hotel.

We look forward to having you here again.

Best wishes!

I have been in Biyem for two weeks. The room was confortable with a mosquito net and beautiful views to the fantastic gardens. The food was very tasty as well the natural fruit juices. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. If I came back to Kampala I would be again in Biyem with no doubt, it is like feeling at home!!
