As mentioned in the title the hotel is a clean & tidy unit. Good staff here again who have a warm smile & greeting for you as you approach for assistance - this is both at the reception & the restaurant as well. No interaction had with the HK Staff but the room was always well done up for us. A hugh spread for breakfast to greet us every morning. Modest amenities in the bath area. Good pressure for water & hot water available through the day. Decent sized rooms. Beds are comfortable & the lighting is adequate. Wake calls given on time.

Ecotel is a nice budget hotel in the centre of city. Room are pretty good and staff are friendly too. There are lot of shopping malls, food courts and massage centres in the vicinity.. Transportation is also very easy.. Can easily get tuk-tuk, bus and taxis..

Room Tip: Preferably room in the second floor

Stayed here for four nights, the hotel has old style aesthetics ( because it is an old hotel), almost all the guests were Indians, the hotel provides only the breakfast and for the rest meals there are many other eateries nearby. The hotel staff lacks finnesse and courtesy. Location wise, the hotel has many spots to visit within ten kilometers radius and the Indra market and Neon night market are at a walkable distance. Overall an OK stay.

Ecotel Hotel in Bangkok is situated at the middle of the city. Location wise it is a very good place where the hotel is situated in Thailand. The rooms are spacious. The AC is very good. We used it because Bangkok is warm even in December. The tea, coffee makers are complimentary, we used the tea bags, milk, sugar in the rooms. The dining room is beautiful. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. From pantha bhaat, a kind of rice full of prawns was given in breakfast in addition to brilliant salads, chicken sausage, egg, omellete, cereal flakes, milk, juices. The complimentary breakfast is in the form of buffet. The seats are brilliant, tables are showy. The services of the staff were outstanding. Rooms were clean and everyday room service used to change soaps, towels, etc. It is a lovely experience in Ecotel Hotel.

Room Tip: It is best to have rooms facing the roads. There is a lot of activity it is delight to see Tuktuk pa...

This is a comfortable staying option in the heart of the city with necessary amenities. Good food at breakfast platter and period. Very few view rooms, lesser floor space and no swimming pool can be compromised when budget is put into consideration. But the location advantage is a big plus for access to the heart of the city. Everything at walking distance and the tuktuk and taxi stands at almost at main entrance to the hotel. There are two 7x11 stores within two minutes walking distance.

Room Tip: Corner rooms facing the Bayok tower

We went there as a group and had taken 4 rooms of which three were family and one was with triple occupancy....The location, the rooms, cleanliness ,food served maintenance of premises were all more than satisfactory ....If not for the impolite staff etiquettes and their discriminative approach towards Indians we have no complaints or negatives to mention on our stay here.....During our check out they found or rather they claimed a small face towel was missing from one of the rooms and extended quite a rude and unfair behaviour to us.....they blindly charged 300Baht for the missing towel and we were left with no choice than to pay the amount when we were not even sure that the so called missing towel was present in the room or not....they were quite adamant and least compromising on terms and for us it was a totally bad and uncalled for issue to get dealt with during check out....
So, I would recommend all to check what all has been offered in room before you start staying there lest later they find something missing and blindly charge you for the missing item.
