“Nice memory stay in TenFace”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 April 2012

I had stayed in Ten Face between 29/3/2012 to 2/4/2012, it is very nice hotel. Although it is not really near BTS, but hotel provide tuk tuk pick up service between BTS and hotel, just call hotel when you arrivel BTS, they will send tuk tuk to BTS, it is so convenient. Hotel room is big, clean, quiet and nice, service is good.
Breakfast is good but everyday is same, more change is much better.
Hotel made me good memories at Bangkok, I will be stay again when I visit BKK again. (Wilson Ngai from Hong Kong)

Stayed here with my husband, 4 yr old and 6 yr old. Our room was clean, icy a.c., large bathroom and a view of the Bangkok skyline. The internet was good but at times a little slow. Free day pass for the sky train and the limosuine size tuk tuk to the station were nice. Nothing nearby the hotel for convenience but the tuk tuk will stop pickup/dropoff at the local 7-11 on the route. My husband, literally, said "I love this place!". He wants to come back to Tenface when we next come to Thailand. He REALLY liked it. I have stayed all over Thailand and lived in various provinces so I am hard to please but even I will say that TenFace did a great job. Decor and art is neat but it just gives the place a very dark feel in the hallways.

It was the second time I stayed at this hotel. I just love the place! The room was spacious, clean and really nice. The service was great. The price was reasonable for a good-location hotel and this kind of room. My boyfriend loved the room so much so he said we would definitely stay at this hotel again. The hotel was a bit far from BTS station but they provide shuttle service and I have my car so it wasn't a problem to me. Really recommend this hotel.

If you are looking for an original space for your stay in Bangkok, Tenface is the right place. Rooms are very big, furniture is essential and with a touch of design, better to choose the ones on the street rather than the ones on the back, you will always have a little noise, but in Bangkok it's quite impossible to avoid it! Better to have the rhythm of the town than being confined in rooms that you cannot open, here we had two balconies, and even if you have the flux of highway, you enjoy also the sound of mysterious Thai birds on the garden's trees of the small houses in front of the hotel! If you need a real pool, the one they have is not really good, but as we were not interested in it, it was not a problem for us. Tuk-tuk shuttle service is really practical and available all the time, sometimes with a short delay. Staff is friendly and very helpful. We will come back for sure.

Very prival location at little lane, hotel will pick you up to Ploenchit TBS station when you got out and come back. they will provide 1 phone sim card and one-day TBS pass for free.
Good price and have good service, but near train rail, it will have noise if you sensitive for sound.

The hotel is very clean and my room on the sixth floor has a balcony with no obstructions looking out on the city, at night it is a a great feature to have.
The hotel provides a tuk tuk to the nearest BTS station a short way from the hotel.
The welclome pack with a pre paid sim & BTS travel card are a nice touch to get you organised quickly to start your Bangkok experience.

When you first think about boutique hotels affordable might not be the first word that comes to mind but Tenface had some excellent promotions going on from their website in February when I visited. If you stayed three or more nights, the room rate significantly dropped. I paid almost 1/3 more than the cost of Tenface to stay in a no-frills resort in Railay. Breakfast was also included in the special online pricing from the website. Did I mention my room could've easily accommodated upwards of 6 people? It was huge for a solo traveler.

The first thing to note about Tenface is that you get conflicting views when you are trying to see the location on Google. For some reason, the image shows as being closer to Siam Square which it is not. Tenface is two, BTS (Bangkok's sky train system - and very efficient one) stops to the east of Siam Square. You can call Tenface and ask that the tuk-tuk come and pick you up (or drop you off, depending on the direction of your travel) from the motorcycle station out front of the Novotel. The tuk-tuk is entirely free, it's just that it won't always be there when you are. The tuk-tuk also runs 24/7 - despite reading differently elsewhere. Do have a way to contact Tenface once you've arrived to the motorcycle stand, buy a SIM card for your phone at the airport, OR wait to check in when you are given a SIM card for free as part of your welcome kit.

So what Tenface lacks in proximity to the city centre it makes up for in the form of your welcome kit. The reviews below are true - you get an iPod and docking station to call your own for the duration of your stay at Tenface, a pre-loaded SIM (I think 15Bath worth of calling/text time), a day pass for the BTS (use it on the day you plan on using mass-transport regularly), a hotel card in both English and Thai, with map (ideal to pass off to your taxi driver) and an extra assortment of toiletries - I assume to take home if you're keen. Tenface does supply additional toiletries. However a mild gripe that the cleaning staff are not good about refreshing the toiletries or supplying additional ones once they've been used up. I stayed five nights and only once did I get a new set of cotton buds, shower cap, body lotion/shower gel during that entire time. Not the end of the world, and certainly not a reason to decide not to stay at Tenface.

If you need some ideas about neat/interesting things to do in Bangkok, the Tenface t.v. channel is mildly addicting. There are little cards with the information printed on them that also come as part of your welcome kit, with each of these *interesting* venues mentioned on the t.v. channel. This comes in very handy when trying to re-create the activity. I was able to do three of them - and would have done more but ran out of time.

Some additional notes:
**The food at the hotel apart from the inclusive breakfast is on the steep side. Tasty and diverse food (even breakfast - catering to an Eastern OR Western diet). But do beware, alcoholic drinks are an outrage price-wise. Local beer costing as much as 250% what the going rate is from the 7-11 around the corner.
**Swimming pool gets no direct sunlight anytime of day mid-February. Water is a delightful temperature and hardly anyone using the pool - day or night.
**You are given four bottles of water as part of your room rate. Generous for 1-2 persons as the tap water in Thailand is not very palatable, unless you enjoy the taste of dirt.
**Jr Suite rooms have a Nespresso. If you have your own capsules at home, bring 'em. Tenface charges 161Baths per capsule. Tea bags and Nescafe sticks are free of charge and come with the room, along with a tea kettle for boiling up that "tasty" tap water.
**If you're keen to walk, you can get to the BTS station in 15 mins or less
**There is a clean, neat, patio/cafe/restaurant (called La Tartine) right near the BTS station that has a happy hour from 5-7pm, with local beers as cheep as 50Bath! Nice place to stop if you're waiting for the tuk-tuk. You will see the chalk board advertising said happy hour as the tuk-tuk drops you off at the BTS station.
**All rooms come with A/C - remote operated, and a bit loud.
**Rooms on the main floor (first floor) are noisier
**Jr. Suite comes with two balconies
**If you are a person who requires lots of daylight, Tenface might not be right for you. It's a very peaceful, calm feeling but the rooms are very darkly lit. Lots of options to turn lights on, but even the idea is calm and dim.

Enjoy your stay at Tenface!
