My room decoration is very clean, opposite to some asian hotels that are also beautiful. Breakfast is very tasteful. Nice staff, good location. Everything very good.

Silq is superbly located near shopping, dining, metro and Skytrain. It's near busy Sukhamvit but a block or so away on a quiet and not seedy sidestreet. It is new, modern and boutique sized. I had a standard room and it was not large but perfectly adequate for the little time I was there. I found the room very quiet with all one needed. This place is very good value. Breakfast was not overwhelming with choice but perfectly adequate. Dining room was small but I never had a problem getting seated. WI-FI and water are free - unlike some other Bangkok hotels which charge through the nose for every extra. Staff were great - they even invited me to their staff Xmas party and it was wonderful to see the closeness and camaderie among them all. Evidence of good management. Entrance to hotel was a bit ho-hum but perfectly functional. Need to elevate or walk up one floor to find lobby. Minor complaint.

Room Tip: My 7th floor standard room was quiet with a nice view of nearby skyscrapers.

Stayed there in October 2011 for one night. Located 200m from the train system which is located above the roads (Skytrain) walked along it, as it is all joined like a continuous pathway it was great to see the views. Walked to the main corner and found night markets and restaurants. Hotel is really nice, clean and modern. It had everything you'd need - including a big tv, air-cond, fridge etc. My clock re-set was out an hour and we arrived for breakfast way before set up had started. It was no problem for staff to put fresh fruit, yoghurt and sundries out for brekky. Very nice indeed. I'll be heading back there again when I next go to BK

Why pay for services that you never use? In 5-star hotels I do not usually use a lot of fancy stuff such as the pool, room service, gym and other niceties, especially if I am out in the city the whole day and just return to the hotel to sleep. This is where hotels like Silq are the smart choice, at half the price of a bigger property.
This is one is for sleeping and not much more. And sleeping is quite nice: the bed is comfy and very large. The internet (another essential) works very well. The toilet is very modern and has nicely produced toiletries. There is a flat panel tv with plenty of international channels including a large variety of Asian tv (middle East, China, Hong Kong, Japan, you name it). The hotel is located nearby (3 to 5 minutes walk) the Asok Skytrain station and very close to the adjacent new Terminal 21 mall. There are various convenience stores on the street. And many massage parlours: legitimate ones, Soi 19 does not have a seedy feel to it. The breakfast area is not very large. The aircon machine is a bit noisy but it did not unduly disturb, and I am a light sleeper; nevertheless, this is the only flaw I found and management should look at this issue. Overall, the Silq hotel feels like a small and very modern European hotel. It is perfectly fine and functional, and the right price. The staff is quite nice, as per Thai standards. If you want glamour and have money to waste then look elsewhere. I do not give it a 5-star just because it is not a 5-star or top hotel.

Great location, value for money, comfortable room and courteous service will sum up my experience of the hotel. Staff is very friendly, efficient and polite. Breakfast is decent.
With many dining options available nearby you always have a choice if you do not like the hotel food, though the food is nice in the hotel
Its right in the middle of the city with public transport easily available any time of the day. Shopping malls are also walking distance away.
Over all a great experience to stay there.

I stayed for 2 nights and upon arrival was greeted by a staff member and before you knew it your bags were on there way to your room. The people manning the reception desk were professional and friendly and made you feel very welcome. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well laid out with a feeling of home. Breakfast was included and provided a good choice for all needs. The hotel was in a great location close to both the Sky train and MRT with a taxi passing by every few seconds. The hotel is small but provides the services of a typically larger hotel and would recommend a stay here without any reservations.

My husband and I stayed for one week in a "superior" size room that was very spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The hotel is one block from new mall Terminal 21, subway Sukhumvit station and skytrain Asok station. Staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. The food is tasty! After a long day out sightseeing, we enjoyed several dinner time meals there too.
We will surely stay here again and recommend SilQ. We feel that it's our Bangkok home!
