I found the food good but certainly not exceptional. Service is a little bit amateurish for a restaurant that wants to be high-end. It is a pity that the courses are served in rapid succession, giving the impression that you should not stay too long. Overall good value for money but not a place where I want to go back very often.

Heard loads about this restaurant, so decided to try it with my gf, needed a change from oriental food.
first of all, IMO, it has no asian influences in its ingrediants that i noticed, so, I would put this restaurant in a european catagory.
My immediate impression was, when arriving, was being greeted by the head waiter, who was wearing blue denim jeans, not a good look in a upmarket restaurant, I think.
onto the food, its 5 course menu was just average, expected a lot more tastes and textures, also, between each course, we were not allowed to take a breather, each course was delivered straight after the other, total time there 50 minutes

I really like this restaurant and have eaten there on three separate trips to Bangkok. The menu is interesting and the food well presented and delicious but they do need to pay attention to the small details. On our last visit there was an overwhelming smell of chemicals coming from the toilet (obviously used to mask more unpleasant ones) but it pervaded the whole restaurant and took the edge off our appetites. The music also needs attention( IMO cover versions of 70's love songs is NOT a good vibe). Can't fault the grub though and by Bangkok local restaurant standards this restaurant is innovative and well worth a visit.

Cant say enough about the set dinner. 900baht for 5/6 courses. all the food was fantastic, can't believe i tasted the best lamb in Bangkok, instead of Australia. But i digress, this place is amazing, check it out.

Ps, look for the bright pink sign on Sala Daeng rd, and go down the alley.
