Our stay didn't start too well as we had a free airport transfer organised which we reconfirmed 48 hours before we arrived. We waited and waited but no one arrived to pick us up. We checked with airport information and they very kindly called the hotel for us who stated they would be there in 5 minutes. About 40 minutes later someone finally turned up and we were offered no explanation by the driver or the hotel as to why weren't picked up. However apart from this problem we were very happy with the hotel itself. They went to the effort of making towel swans with pretend roses on our bed in a nod to the fact that it was our honeymoon. The room was exceptionally clean, with a nice, spacious bathroom. Beds were hard but comfortable enough. Free wifi worked well and we couldn't believe how quiet it was. If you want a peaceful nights sleep this is the place to stay. Breakfast was fantastic, make sure you try the Thai breakfast. If you're happy to walk a little to the skytrain, pay a good price and you don't want to be in the backpacker district then Bangkok Loft Inn is a great choice.

Room Tip: Get the front desk to organise taxi/tuk tuk rides - they will arrange better prices

Booked this hotel because of the excellent reviews and we weren't dissapointed.
The rooms are clean with a huge bed, the staff friendly and informative about trips etc and the breakfast yummy. We did have the hotel address on a card but on a couple of occasions got a taxi and the driver had no idea where the hotel was ( I think some of the Taxi drivers are not Thai and couldn't read Thai or English) we got them to drop us off at the BST and walked from there, it wasn't a problem even at night as we felt really safe.
The only downside was that we were collected from the airport and the driver left us sitting around for 1 hr while he located another couple who's plane was delayed.
On the whole a great little hotel, we would have no doubts about visiting again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a high floor as traffic noise could be a problem

We were absolutely impressed with this hotel.
1st of all, they come to pick you up at the airport if you stay 2 nights and more. They will wait for you a little apart from the arrivals hall,
Once arrived in the hotel, they serve you juice and the nice gentleman takes your luggage to your room.
Our room was on the 3rd floor, 307 I think. The bed was so big, it was the biggest king size I've seen and it was so soft and clean, the pillows are so confy, a good night sleep after 30 hours travelling.
the room is pretty modern, flat screen, fridge and the bathroom was clean and they provide the shampoo and body wash in the shower.
There was always someone at the reception desk and they asked us where we were going and they gave us tips, the fastest way to get there, etc.
The lady that is in charge of breakfast Phaed is really nice and welcoming.
The atmosphere at the hotel is very quiet and peaceful and everybody is very helpful.
Transportation was not a problem, the BTS is very close to the hotel. At night the street Thanon Krung Thonburi may seem a little scary but nothing happens there.
Also, one night we were coming from the old part of Bangkok and were surprised by the closeness to the hotel: 7-10 minutes ride on a tuk tuk, crossing the bridge, Wongwian Yai plaza and we were in front of the hotel for very cheap (3$ or less)
We have been to other hotels in Bangkok and around Thailand and we were always thinking about the BLI, because of the service and the value, this is the one to go to!

We stayed for a the first 3 nights when we first landed in Bangkok. Reception were friendly. I really like Bob from the reservation. I think he is the owner. Bob promply replies to emails. The room comes with complimentary breakfast platter (need to choose and order the day before). Nice cosy breakfast hall. The hotel seems to be very clean. However, in our first night, just before going to bed, I felt itchy all over my body and felt something is biting me. I realise it could be bed bugs. Linen seems to be fresh laundered. So I suspect it was that piece of cloth that were placed on the bed for presentation purpose just before you checked-in that has bed bugs! I went to the reception and showed them my bite marks. The reception hurriedly looked for caladryl (anti-itch lotion) and gave me. I've also nice asked to have the linens changed for us. I was told that the linens were freshly laundered and i believe them but i know that there is something biting me on the bed. The old man (their bell boy) hurriedly helped out and brought some fresh linens. One late night, we were hungry and called the reception if they are anything we can order to eat. We were told that they can order from outside i.e. fast foods.. I said no i prefer thai food eg tom yam The nice lady from reception personally cooked a tom yam soup for us and its one of the best we've had! Room's wifi is really good.

The hotel is a bit far however is accesible using the skytrain (5mins walk). They are on the last stop of BTS (Wongyian station i think). We are suppose to stay again for another night when we return to Bangkok from Phuket but decided to stay much nearer Siam.

A little late in writing this review (stayed Dec 2011) but felt that I must add a good review as we had such a nice stay here. Although it is a little out of the way, we found this to be a positive as after a long day in the thick of it we enjoyed coming back 'home' to the Bangkok Loft Inn for some calm. The staff were AMAZING. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. This really made our stay here great. We were offered a complimentary pick up from the airport as we were staying for 2 nights which was fantastic. Breakfast was wonderful - I loved the pork and chicken Thai options. Also served are pastries, cereals, yogurts, cakes, fruit and UK/USA options. Across the street is a little open air cafe offering Thai food. We ate here both nights as it was incredibly cheap and equally as tasty. Look out for the local dog with a teddy bear tied to its collar :) There is easy access into town using the sky train and taxis are affordable (the hotel will call one over for you if needed). Would definitely stay here again!!

Stayed here for 3 nights with my mother during our first visit to Bankok and we were very pleased that we've chosen this hotel for our short stay. The rooms are very clean and decent at very low price. The staff are so friendly and gave a lot of help. The location is not the best but only 10-minute walk from the BTS station WANG WIAN YAI, and not so far to the city centre. Tip: There is a very good massage shop nearby at low price.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The room was great. The staff went above and beyond to look after us and checked where we were going each day and warned us of what to and not to do. We ha a tour booked for one day where we could not make breakfast so that made us up a food pack of 4 bacon and egg sandwiches, water and juices and fresh fruit. This was more than we expected. Lively people an a top hotel.
