The hotel staff are great, friendly and willing to help - and helpfully for us spoke good English.
We stayed 3 nights and made use of airport transfer service offered by the hotel, which after a long flight made travel into Bangkok very simple - it took about an hour but this will vary with traffic!
Breakfast is a combination of a continental buffet of fruits, breads and croissants and also a western or eastern hot option that you pick the night before - all in all you couldn't ask for more and again the staff are very helpful.
The rooms were OK, quite large with a very wide bed and comfy chair but from our room (2nd floor at the front of the hotel) you could hear the street noise but this is in Bangkok, so to be expected.
Location - although not in central Bangkok and on the western side of the river it is only a 5 minute walk to the sky train and from there 2 stops (15Bht) to the central pier for boat services to Wat Arun and the grand palace. Slightly further on the skytrain (35Bht) is Siam area with huge shopping centres and massive international food courts. Around the hotel are several 7/11s and many street food vendors.More
