Booked this hotel with the only purpose of an overnight stay while transfering flights, and it totally fulfilled my expectations. The pick up at airport went fine (just a 10-minute wait while waiting for another passenger); the hotel is just 5 minutes from airport (literally). The hotel is hidden in the backstreets of a busy and "messy" neighborhood. Dont get fooled by that; the hotel is extremely clean and the rooms are very well maintained; almost like new, Room big enough with a king size bed and a small bathroom with a nice shower. Many freebies included in the rate: transferst to/from airport at any time you choose, wifi (fast), minibar (candy, water, soft drinks, even beer!!), hot breakfast (very nice fresh fruit). The lady at the reception was very nice and attentive. And the price I found was very good (TBH 1850)
If I have to transit in Bangkog again, this will be my choice again without a doubt,
I cannot comment on how convenient this hotel can be if you need to go to Bangkok; it seemed it is a bit far from downtown.

Good transfer service provide. cuz we had to take early flight, we stayed for a night. They provided free shuttle to and from nearby cityline station, and airport. They had given me a local cell phone, to get in touch with their staff, to contact their driver, and pick me up after we went shopping.

This little hotel is a beautiful oasis in a busy city. We stayed here for 2 nights en route to Hanoi and again 1 night before we flew back to Canada. We booked it because it was close to the airport. Our flight to Hanoi was very early so we had to leave the hotel at 3:45 AM but the van was ready to take us. They provided complimentary pick and return to the airport. Many hotels offer this service but this hotel provides transport in their lovely van to the nearest metro station, a shopping mall and restaurants - always complimentary and with a smile. On each of these excursions, they gave us a cell phone with which to call for a return pickup. We were blown away with the service.
The hotel is new and the rooms are immaculate with a lilac theme throughout. Certainly no smell in our room and no noise from other guests. The hotel is close to the airport but we could not hear any air traffic. There is a mini frig stocked with a few beers, water and soft drinks and a basket of chips and cookies - all complimentary. We have never experienced this anywhere in the world.
The area in which the hotel is located at first worried us a little but it proved to be perfectly safe and on our return visit we spent the afternoon on foot discovering the vaccinity. There is a large temple a few hundred metres away.
We highly recommend this hotel for both a short layover and a longer visit to Bangkok.

firstly all the reviews of this hotel are spot on

the airport transfers went smoothly --- some one waiting for us with our name on a sign

the room itself is good -- the bathroom may be a little bit small but with a full shower screen you dont flood the floor

the bed is a king size and great to sleep on

the breakfast was good -- standared fare of eggs and fruit / toast -- all you need to start the day

in all nice clean friendly hotel -- with staff that smile -- would highly recommend for afew days stay while visiting bangkok

This is our second visit to the Lilac RR we arranged for them to pick us up at the airport and they were waiting for us at gate 4. In less than 10 min we were checking in and being given a welcome drink

Comfortable clean room
Complimentary wifi. Tea coffee and snacks  A/C hair dryer bottled water,

I had a good night sleep and did not get wakened by other hotel guests.

Not sure which room we had but it certainly didn't have any smells in the bathroom

The hotel is decorated in different colours of lilac througout the owner used to work for Thai airways which is why she has used the colours lilac  into the decor

Everything has been covered in previous reviews
Breakfast was excellent, rooms are clean and comfortable modern and nicely decorated

Diffidently recommend and will use again

but I ended up giving 3 stars because it is just not 4 star quality despite the great value. I really wanted to give it 4 stars as the value was just so great. Reservation communication was speedy and thorough. The shuttle was prompt to pick up and return to the airport the next morning. The bed and room were very clean. For arriving at 10pm and heading back to the airport at 7am, I just couldn't justify the Novotel at the airport since this was personal travel - and was happy to find this property.

But...the downsides. The bathroom smelled even after leaving the fan running overnight in hopes of airing it out, and the lack of sound insulation accentuated every door closing, rolling bag passing. Unfortunately I didn't get good sleep (I travel 30% of the year and can sleep in any hotel or plane.

This B&B is so beautiful and charming and we felt right at home. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful.
The room and the area around are kept very neat and clean. Breakfast is good and delicious. You can walk to Lat Krabang train station the back way in 10 mins. Would recommend this place to everybody.
