Stayed for 3 nights.

Overall a good experience except for the breakfast.
Room is spacious and comfortable.
Service is good. The gentleman (didn't note his name) at the concierge was very helpful and always full of smile.

The only downside is their breakfast.
Poor spread of food with below average quality.

I have just stayed at a superb hotel at a bargain price! I can highly recommend The Sivatel to anyone visiting Bangkok. The rooms were large and very comfortable. The bed was a dream.
The staff cannot be more friendly and helpful. The situation of the hotel also proved very convenient being quite close to the skytrain.
I highly recommend it!

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at the Sivatel. Hotel was very conveniently located with easy access via the light rail network to the best shopping centres in Bangkok, all of which are 1 to 3 stops away. It's also very close to the "4-face buddha" (if you're into that sort of thing). Breakfasts were great, as was the infinity pool with the city as the backdrop. The staff were also excellent, always there to lend a helping hand, offer suggestions for dinner, shopping, etc ... nothing was too much trouble. Our particular thanks go to one Ms. Rungravee D and Mr. Thanaphum. When/ if we return to Bangkok, Sivatel will be on the top of our list of hotels to consider staying at.

Close to Central World shopping complex and just half a block away from Central Department store for shoppers. BTS is 100m away to talk you almost anywhere you want to go. Big rooms, big washrooms, service is great, close to expressway from airport and i agree taxi drivers don't know where it is. Both times I've stayed here, I had to direct them.
As a plus try the Greyhound restaurant on the 4th floor of the Central Department store.

Location is good: in the plush embassy district somewhat protected from the commercial bustle of the trendy areas. The room ,a two bedroom suite was spacious, pleasantly furnished, nice apple amenities, nice bathrooms too although no separate toilets.
As usual in Thailand service is willing and trying but they do not have a clue and they are so not trained it is almost funny .the concierge could not estimate that the mall I inquired about was 500 yards away and had trouble identifying the hotel on a map.
When we asked turndown service to come back after 30mn of course they never came back.
When I called for two more towels they brought one.
There is a plethora of smiling faces but they cannot help you because their English is not up to par and they have no supervision.

We travel a lot and stay in many international hotels but this is surely one not to miss in Bangkok. It seems very new (not many Taxi drivers know it) but conveniently located near the Skytrain and an expressway so easy access to airport and the city. We were staying with two children and they arranged a two bedroom corner apartment with amazing views. The room was excellent with hi-tech internet TV's a living area and lovely beds. The kids adored it. The hotel has a very smart infinity pool, gym and bar/cafe on the 8th floor all with the same amazing views. Breakfast and dinner very good and easy access to some other nice eating places nearby on 'Wireless Road' (the Embassy district). Like most of Thailand teh staff were polite attentive and could never do enough for us. Would definitely stay here again..

Room Tip: If travelling with a family ask for a corner apartment (adjoing rooms) - 2270 was great, probably th...
