On offer is a choice of the most premium and authentic malt whiskies, vodkas and Cognacs.A unique feature of Distil is the Oyster Bar. Pink Diamond Oysters, Exclusive Petrossian Caviar and fresh sushi and sashimi present a delightful selection, along with the finest champagnes and wines from a walk-in wine cellar. Hand-rolled authentic Cuban Cigars are yours to enjoy together with drinks in the adjoining open-air Cigar Terrace. Enjoy the company of the cool set at this hottest chill out spot in Bangkok. The chosen venue for the high flyers and for those of us craving a place to enjoy that one cigar amidst the perfect surrounding, Distil stands out in this aspect alone. Throw in the oysters and caviar, we move up one notch.

Visited with friends - more chilled out that the Sky Bar, nice view and nice Cocktails. Overall service is not great - quick Cocktails ob the terrace but we sat down at 21.15 for food (we had a table reservation at 19.30). Food was actually good - great Sushi and Oysters. Overall it was a nice evening but 800 USD for four people for bites, cocktails and wine would be pricey by London or NYC standards but is seriously pricey for BKK.

Whilst staying at the Lebua we were keen to try both here and the Skybar for evening drinks. The cocktails were of a good standard but the limited selection of beer was very expensive. If like the Skybar it is very busy when you arrive then you don't need to wait too long for space as there was a high number of people who appeared to come for the view and one drink before moving on.

Although we were expecting to go to the Sky Bar we were ushered towards this bar instead. It does have an outdoor area, with seating for about 15 people around the edge and plenty more for standing. You do pay a lot for the cocktails but you are paying for the view and the experience and they were tasty too. Was slightly disappointed with the dress code rules though. On their website it does say men should be wearing trousers and no sports gear or flip flops allowed, however although men in shorts were being refused entry it didn't apply to women who were in shorts, dressed in their gym clothes and also wearing flip flops. Quite odd.

Actually my team has previously booked for Alfresco (in the same floor). However, due to urgent meeting before so that we should change the time last minute, the Dome gave us the tables at Distil instead. The place, in fact, exceeds our expectation! Subjectively speaking, it's even better. We do love the atmosphere, the drinks and of course, the service. The whole staff really does their extra mile, super friendly and helpful, particularly the assistant manager Miss Rawiwan. She's super kind and nice! Thank you so much for her assistance during our visit at the bar. Unfortunately, we aren't able to stay long to drink more because we have a flight the day after. What an impressive night in Bangkok after all. Definitely will come back. Hope it'd be soon!

Went to both Distil and Skybar while visiting Bangkok

Distil has seats, takes resos and serves food. The place is not cheap - about $30/drink (dollars not baht).

Cocktails are unique and good - tried the mango sticky rice - great Thai cocktail.

Sushi was good, as was the calamari and mac and cheese balls.

Pricey - but a cool experience if you're looking for that.
