Stayed in this Amazing place from 26th-31st March 2013. Staff, Nicky, Lalita, and the Rest were simply delighting the guests by attending to most of their requests. The Check-in is smooth as Thai Silk, may be 3 mins. The rooms are better than a 4 star hotels when u take the value for money option, as they r spotless, clean bed linnen, reading lamp and A/C all day along.....Further the wash rooms were extra clean as they were regularly looked after by attentive cleaning staff.
As per guidance Lalita, is an encyclopaedia bangkok, as she is correct even to the minute bus route number. The other aspect is the most of the staff's ability to converse in English. If they dint understand sumthn they made a habbit to guide us to staff who could understand our question.
The location is ***** stars as its a stones throw from the wir port rail link. U can get to the hostel within 35 mins of landing. (That's if you get to the basement level and take the rail link from SVB to Ratchaprarop station). The train journey costs 45 Bahts onwards and 40 when returning to SVB.
FnB wise again ***** stars as the hostel has a well equipped kitchen.(No cook top). But rice cooker, a microwave, and water kettle are all there with plenty of clean crockery. Two supermkts are like 1 min walk from either sides of the hostel. I recommend the Eon supermkt, as it is 24 hrs, professional staff, huge variety of Thai n International items and acceptance of Amex and other CCards.
Thai street food is about 3 mins walk from the hostel and two 7-11s are in 5 mins walk. But seriously just pop in to the 24 hrs Eon and you can get Sushi platter for 69 Baht, Noodles, Oven fresh Bread 40 Baht, Pre cooked Thai dishes 45 Baht, and 3in1 coffee sachets at 3.50 Baht each.
Pratunam is like 7 Mins walk from the hostel. Center world, Indra mkt, Plantip Plaza, Platinum Mall are just two shouts away,,,,, may b 10-16 mins walk......
Famous Sukhumvit Rd is 15 mins away. You can get up to Wat Arun(the furthest a traveller wud travel in Bkk from the hostel) by taking the bus route 2,60, or 511 for 6.50 Baht or AC bus at 13 baht.
I hate Tuk tuks and their scams, so dint even luk at the stooges. Also the hostel staff is kind enough to post all the necessary warnings to stay away from obvious troubles in Bkk.
The staff let you live in peace. So it feels as if you are at home...... And a Big thank goes to ma roomies, Stu(Australia), Andrea(Italy), the two Alaskans, the American Australian......Coz we all had a common understanding and we all were flexible enuf so that every1 enjoyed their stays as per their individual likings.
wifi is their with high speed connection. self srvc laundry is there, 40 baht per wash..... free dryer thanks to the poring sun shine.... clothes are dried to paper thin within 2 hrs,,, guys......
I think I cvrd everything a solo traveller might need to know about this Amazing Place........Highly Recommend and Would Definitely Come Back......
Sam.

Actually it's a good option for a traveler who'd like to stay in hostel which is near the raillink (BTS), clean hostel, fairly price, friendly staff. But too bad there's no elevator, I stayed in a private room for 4 person on ther 4th floor for 2 nights and it's exhausting yet hard for me to go upstairs after a fullday travel around the city and the wifi connection on 4th floor poor either :(

However, we provide 2 large and cozy living areas on the ground and mezzanine floor where all guests can rest and relax after a long day. We also provide free computer, free Wifi, and book corner in the living area. We hope to welcome you and your friends again. All the best.

Decent option for back-packers. It's really clean and the staff are helpful enough. It's close to the main malls and even closer to the skytrain station on the airport line. There's not a lot of good eating options around though. Stayed in early Feb 2013 in an 8-bed all girls dorm with a/c. Breakfast not included.

Thank you so much for your review and comment. We hope to welcome you again in the future. Actually, there are many delicious Thai and Chinese food around our place, both fine restaurants and street foods. If you walk further a bit to Pratunam area, there are many Indian restaurants. 7-11 is also just across the street if you are looking for some light meal and snacks.

Stayed here during our stay at BKK with friends. The location was perfect, near Airport Link, and the shopping area for a very affordable price! The staff was very friendly and approachable. The room is very clean and have a very comfortable bed though don't expect much regarding the toilet as it's shared (but it's still good). Nice common area where you can relax with friends after a long day's activity. The only thing I didn't like was the use of common slippers because of hygenic purposes.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. For the hygienic reason, we prepare indoor slippers for all guests to change before going upstairs. "No shoes" in the bed rooms also reduce unpleasant smell. We clean our indoor slippers everyday. However, if you are not comfortable to ware our slipper, you can go bare foot :) We hope to welcome you again soon. All the best

I stayed at Link Corner hostel with a group of friends. I booked conveniently trough PayPal, which I loved since I didn't have access to my bank cards. Clean and quiet hostel with a cool second floor and pretty lobby. We were on the 5th floor, a bit of a hike with luggage. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I had to cancel 2 beds because my friends ditched out, but they were nice about it and only had to pay half the cost for them. My only complaint is that I called beforehand to make sure they had towels to rent, but when I went to rent a towel, they said they ran out. Not a huge deal though. Blankets were very comfortable! Well priced hostel and good location overall.
