Hardly anything wrong with this hostel, although it doesn't do enough to make me want to wax lyrical about its pluses. I've been in better, but also in much, much worse. It's just fine for the amount of money you pay: good location, quite helpful staff, excellent wifi, nice common area, air-conditioned rooms. Also a good location.
A couple of problems: all sorts of stuff under my bed that hadn't been cleaned for ages (including, bizarrely, a block of charcoal); no lift (which is mentioned on the website but still a pain); staff tend to be civil rather than overly friendly, although a couple were very nice.
Overall, can't complain too much for the price. Good value for money.

Stayed here for 2 nights in the 6-bed dorm. Room was simple but comfortable. Shared bathroom was clean as well. The staff was helpful and patient in providing directions and tips so feel free to check with them if you have doubts.

The Airport Rail Link is just 2 mins away from the hostel so leaving for the airport from there is fuss-free and straightforward (not having to deal with the annoying Bangkok traffic). If not, Phaya Tai BTS Station is a mere 7 mins walk away so travelling via the BTS is convenient as well. For shopping, Siam/Chidlom BTS is just stops away so you're really close to the shopping district.

Great location in Bangkok, especially if you wish to stay near the shopping districts.

Stayed here twice in February 2013. If you are mad about shopping in Bangkok, stay here. Location is walking distance from the major shopping areas of Bangkok. Everything is clean in this hostel. It's on the airport link rail, so easy if you are coming from the airport. They have a kitchen where you can use to prepare or reheat food you bought from outside, which is helpful for people who have diet restrictions
