The staff at Link Corner were all very welcoming and friendly. They let me store my large bags in the luggage storage room for my entire stay. They showed me around, showed me to the mixed dorm I was assigned to, and explained the basic rules of the hostel to me. The room and the shared bathroom were both very clean. This is probably mostly due to their policy of no eating or drinking (except water) anywhere in the hostel except in the first floor lobby/kitchen area. It's a bit of a nuisance, but it's worth it to not have to deal with insects everywhere.

The showers were surprisingly clean, had plenty of hooks for clothes and towels, and 24-hour hot water.

The air conditioning in the dorm room worked very well. The lockers in the dorm room were clean and large enough for a decent-sized backpack, or two smaller backpacks. Guests just have to provide their own lock. Towels are not provided, but can be rented from the front desk for less than $1. Washing machines and laundry detergent are available for less than $2, with racks for air drying.

The people at Link Corner also gave me advice about the neighborhood around the hostel, things within walking distance, as well as destinations around the city.

The 1st floor (European numbering, so 1st floor is above the ground floor) is a nice chill space with couches, pillows, a public computer, air conditioning, and good wifi. Unlike many hostels in Thailand, there was good, strong wifi everywhere in the building, not just near the reception area.

The only real issue is the lack of an elevator in a 6-story building. Be aware of this before you book.

The neighborhood was interesting and livable. Ratchaprarop Street had street food and shops, and nearby side streets had affordable massages and restaurants, as well as shopping areas with souvenirs, snacks, sweets. Rangnam Street had lots of street food and restaurants, coffee and dessert shops. Directly across the main intersection is a 7-Eleven, and next door to that is a place called D' Desktop, which has western breakfasts (French toast, fried meats, toast with jam), *real* coffee (from real beans and an espresso machine, not Nescafé), and co-working space.

As explained in the listing, Link Corner is right next to the Ratchaprarop Station on the airport link line to/from BKK (Suvarnabhumi Int'l Airport). It's also a short walk to the Phaya Thai BTS station, as well as to boat taxis that can take you toward the center of the city.

Basically, my whole experience at Link Corner ranged from positive to fantastic. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, and I would recommend it to friends. Excellent value for money. Excellent service.
