“the best small luxury hotel in Bangkok”
Reviewed 23 August 2011

I've stayed at this hotel 20+ times now and it never disappoints. The rooms have an authentic Thai feel, the service is gracious and warm, the food is terrific and the location is perfect.

Book a room with a sports club view on 6F and above and you'll have a lovely view to a racetrack and golf green in the heart of the city.

The breakfast buffet and eggs to order is the best quality breakfast I've found in Asia. Try the bircher muesli (a longtime favourite recipe) and the toffee cashew danish!

The Spice Market thai food is very authentic and the Italian, Biscotti, is among the best in Bangkok. Even when we lived in Bangkok for 18 months we would drive over to eat at either of these restaurants, happily paying hotel prices for the fab food.

Special mention to the concierge staff who have terrific indsider knowledge, are very thorough in their directions, happily solve taxi issues over the phone and always know the best food stall for mango sticky rice in season!

The long serving doormen welcome us every stay by saying "welcome home". It's worth every dollar for this wonderful experience. Hope you find this review helpful. If so, please click on a helpful vote!

Room Tip: sports club view room on high floor

This is a genuine 5 star hotel in every respect. We were two ladies travelling back from Australia to the U.K and stopped in Bangkok for three nights to enjoy some shopping. The hotel is located in a quiet and safe area, next to the Skytrain which is only 1 or 2 stops from excellent shopping centres. From check in to check out, the service is impeccable, the rooms very well appointed, and the food at breakfast superb. The concierge arranged restaurant bookings for us in advance and a private transfer from the airport, which was very good value as we were arriving late at night. The quality of service from every part of the hotel was of a very high standard. We found the staff to be very friendly and anxious to ensure our stay was memorable. I am already looking forward to returning with my husband and would recommend this to anyone wishing a genuine 5 star experience.

Although we spend only 1 night during each of our 2 stays (with about 1 week in between each one of them), we were treated like VIP's by the staff of the executive floor of Four Seasons Bangkok. Totally personal and attentive service. It couldn't have been any better.
The lobby is beautiful (think Peninsula Hong Kong style). The rooms, amenities and facilities are just great. Excellent location on top of that. Within walking distance of a few malls and one stop by skytrain from another great mall. Gym is perfect and gym staff is extremely friendly as well. The almost insist that you'd have a free fruit juice or espresso upon entering and leaving the gym. All in all, we totally recommend this hotel.

I stayed 4 nights with my wife and daughter in this wonderful hotel. It is just 5 stars all area. From the second you entered the hotel entrance, I feel like I am the VIP.
The Breakfast in the Garden every morning are just so beautiful and relax.
The deluxe room that we stayed are big enough to put an extra bed for my little daughter (it's free too)
The swimming pool is quite good, with ice-water, OJ for my daughter, they provide good food too!
The spa that my wife went was too good that she wanna do another session...OMG!
Walking to the Central World is just 10 mins, great place for Supermarket, restaurant, shops and shops everywhere! you are going to love it.
Just a little advice, the Restaurants in the hotel are a little bit pricy. We tried the Spice Market for Thai Food, but the outcome is just an average Thai meal but eat in the hotel.
Anyway, Enjoy your BKK trip

Excellent service. I took the airport transfer from the hotel as it was my first trip to Bangkok. Though it was not cheap it was worth it.
The staff had already checked me in and I went straight to my room. No front desk. So nice...
Food at the Thai restaurant in the hotel was the best Thai food I ever had. We ended up having dinner almost every alternate day. The breakfast buffet was elaborate as well.
The concierage was very helpful. Bell boys at front desk were outstanding. Just to give an example of the level of service we got. we took a local taxi from the hotel. My friend forgot his luggage in the taxi and we were really frantic whether we would get our luggage back as we did not remember the taxi no. I gave a call to the hotel and within 15 minutes the hotel located the taxi and got our luggage delivered to us.
I strongly recommend Four Seasons. great staff, very nice location and above all excellent service !!!
