“Disappointing drinks.”

If we had just had one of the delicious looking cakes then the rating would have been excellent but our experience on this visit was let down by the drinks we ordered. I appreciate that many Thai restaurants/cafes don't really do hot drinks but if I am paying a 140 baht for a hot Americano, then I expect something better than a lukewarm and rather bitter drink. The ice chocolate drink at 145 baht was also very bitter.
Fortunately the cakes and pastries are first class with a very good selection which can make choosing one quite a difficult task! I opted for the choco-trio cube which was absolutely mouthwateringly delicious (160baht). My partner chose the vanilla mango (145baht) which didn't stay long on her plate!
Service was, as expected, very good and although the shop is situated in a very busy shopping mall, it was like an oasis of calm. There's lots of goodies to buy and take away as well.
Shame about the drinks but we would certainly go here again for the wonderful cakes.

Excellent service, cakes and coffees. Ordered two cakes, both of which were very good. Would visit again.

The Mandarin Oriental Shop is my favourite place for morning or afternoon tea. Situated on the ground floor of the Siam Paragon complex, it is a beautifully presented tea shop / patisserie; very quaint & a lovely place to have a cuppa with your favourite cake.

Superb selection of teas, pastries, good menu for a light lunch, brunch or anytime you feel like a nibble of something delicious. Hampers are available, teas to purchase, chocolates, sweets, sandwiches etc. The delicacies offered are varied and many, too many to settle on just the one!

It’s a tough competition at ground floor of Siam paragon mall when it comes to sweet traits, this venue is definitely above average, plenty of choice when it comes to desserts. Best deal is definitely tea set. Coffee is average and highly overpriced.

Nice place with modern cakes, but a little bit over rated. 1 cake costs 150 baht, plus service cost.
