The hotel is in a traditional Thai style and looks like it is straight from the 70s but nevertheless is very clean and tidy. The room was quite large with a view of the hills in the distance. The only complaint with the room was the air conditioning which was quite noisy even on low setting and needed to be turned off at night; this made the room quite warm. The hotel seemed to be aimed mainly at pensioners coach tours and entertainment is laid on to suit them.

The breakfast was average, with not much to suit western tastes. Whilst I like Thai food, I don't much fancy it early in the morning.

About 10mins walk to the night market but furtherthan it looks into the old town. Would suggest a taxi or tuk tuk if going there.

The staff were OK, but on checking out, the room key was taken off me without a word said. Quite rude.

This was such a beautiful hotel espacially after doing a trek for a couple of days.

The service, room, free breakfast buffet were excellent. The only thing I can complain about was that you had to pay for the internet by the hour which was a huge shock after staying at cheaper places where you would pay a small fee for the wifi password.

I didn't have any other meals at this hotel but the breakfast buffet was amazing with so many options.

This is a good hotel with lovely personal touches and a friendly atmosphere. Well located within easy reach of the excellent, vast Chiang Mai Night Market, which is well worth a visit or two. Rooms are comfortable, the breakfast excellent, with eggs cooked to order and crispy waffles. Good to try out Oriental breakfast options from the chafing dishes, too. The dinner buffet has a generous selection of dishes from around the world. Beautiful floral displays in public areas, live music in the bar and good 'happy hour'. Thai massage and foot massage nearby.

Good hotel, good rooms, nice bathroom, breakfast catering for all nationalities. No complaints other than outrageous cost for internet, 500bht for 12 hours.
Nearby night markets, coffee shop and genuine massage centres.

In upgraded room and 4 bottle of free water a day.
