I booked 2 rooms for a 2 night stay at Rarinjinda. Although it is classed as a boutique hotel, it felt spacious with 35 rooms, very peaceful, leafy, teakwood surroundings and the room design was contemporary. If you're after a lovely rest by the Ping river, it's10 mins walk to the busy, cluttered night market street housing a myriad of other hotels, and a shorter distance to worarot local market.
Loved the spa treatments on the hotel premises. The staff were attentive to our needs, however not very clear on day tour arrangements. The only one flaw was the breakfast offer. Although separate bookings via different agents were made for the 2 rooms, only one room allowed free breakfast, and the other room had to pay 400 baht per person ,well overpriced in terms of breakfast offered. If Rarinjinda management can resolve this problem, and cater for breakfast inclusive in all rates, then it will not taint guests experiences at the hotel. The second morning, we opted out of breakfast and strolled down to the local coffee shop. That aside, we still loved the place and would go back again, as it rates well above your standardised 5 star boringness.
