Aww my god I love this hotel staff are excellent and friendly we are greeted as though we are family to them as we have stayed here a few times.. The reception woman pornchanok is totally lovely polite and helps in every way to make our stay comfortable the other staff are polite and try to help you in anyway they can its just language barrier is difficult.. The hotel is so clean and the rooms are done everyday with clean towels bedding and toiletries.. The situation of the hotel is excellent for us as its out the way but getting a bus is 5 mins to all the bars and walking street the 2 pools there are great and plenty of sun beds breakfast is catered for all nationality there's so much to choose .. Carnt wait to see them all in February xx

The hotel is ok and with a deal can be good value for money however beware that unlike the a one star and cruise hotel which are part of the same company - they have decided that this hotel charges 1000 baht for an unregistered guest to stay per night whereas the a one star hotel doesn't charge a thing for guests- even if you have a double room with single occupancy. It's Absolutely rubbish to have a different policy according to the hotel and I recommend avoiding this hotel.

I have been to Pattaya a number of times and this is my first stay at A One it is a nice modern hotel with friendly staff in a great location.
For a relaxing quiet break from the real world this is the place.

The actual hotel room was very nice, it had a good view and the room was clean and classy. We booked this hotel in advance - before we realised you could get a room of just as good standard for a fraction of the price. It is not worth the extra money to stay here. The breakfast was buffet style - but for a European traveller not idea (it was curries and stir fries and things and although I like trying new foods - this is not what I want for breakfast!). The buffet was very busy and hard to get any food anyway. The staff were extremely rude on the main desk, which we were quite shocked by (properly the only rude Thai people we came across on our stay!) I would recommend finding somewhere else! :)

On the positive side: this hotel has excellent air conditioning, access to a great fitness at the other hotel (called A-One Royal Cruise)  and the reception staff are friendly and efficient. Small balcony wth view of the beach. Clothes drying rack on balcony. Clean hotel. Free wifi for 3 devices. Check in and Check out fast.

On the negative side: walls are paper thin. It has the worst sound proofing i have ever come across, but sound problems dont stop there, people slam doors at all hours of the night and staff start the heavy base music in the downstairs pool bar at 09:30 which you can hear from the rooms, and it goes on and on banging out the same beat that drives me crazy. Seriously they need to shut that bar music system down. Kids screaming in the pool are an added annoyance as are their incompetent parents who permit the behaviours.

Small pool.

The in house cable channel are mostly thai and i could only find one english channel. The labels on the TV are also not correctly aligned to the chanels and this makes searching with the guide impossible.

Hot water mixer  tap was constantly malfunctioning. You turn on cold and it runs dangerously hot. Turning it on and off a number of times and play with the valve eventually gets cold water.

Food prices are way over the top a short  stroll and food can be had at 1/3 of the price.

Housekeeping by lady housekeeper was good but on the weekend there was a man cleaning rooms and he missed replacing paper and tissues depite receiving an up front tip. He also knocked on the door a 09:30 on both days.
