“Very small room”
Reviewed 3 March 2012

This hotel was the least we visited on our trip through Asia, although the hotel is in a nice building. Our room was very small, there was hardly any room to put your suitcase/bag. Breakfast across the street was ok.

Depending on your politics, experiencing the ancienne Indochine thing could be either exhilarating or revolting. We were somewhere in between. Let's say the fact that there were more middle-class Vietnamese faces than white ones staying at the hotel made it more tolerable. And, if you are lucky enough to get a room facing down into the valley rather than out to the road (and the cell phone tower?) then you will get a dreamy technicolor view of Dalat in all its pseudo-Alpine splendor. Beware of the headmaster's speech on the megaphone at the nearby school but rejoice in the sounds of laughter and play from below. Restaurant across the street continues the colonial theme and charges a hefty amount for a breakfast buffet that is, however, just about worth it. Good coffee, good croissants, etc. You know, the colonial perks...

Room Tip: Definitely get one facing into the valley, i.e. away from the road.

The hotel looks good outsize but inside there are many bad things:
1. The elevator is an old one, usually not working and cause the guest to walk on the stairs four floors
2. No swimming pool
3. very expensive breakfast (compare to other places in Vietnam)
4. The team at the lobby are really not friendly, looks like not happy with their job...
5. The location is far from the lake and center, need to take taxi.
6. Rooms are quite small, the view is on some garbage place
7. Wifi is very very slowly and disconnect all the time, can not use at room but only outside the room

Room Tip: take a lower floor, avoid the elevator problems

This was one of the more expensive hotels we stayed in, but was worth the money we paid.

Reception staff was helpful and spoke very good english!

Nice, comfortable, clean and quiet room with all facilites as adverstised in their website.

Walking distance to the lake and market.

No complaints whatsoever, and would recommend this to anyone, although a bit pricey.

After 5 hours in a bumpy van from Mui Ne to Dalat, we were so pleasantly surprised to arrive at this hotel. It was elegant and professional with the charm of French architecture and style. we upgraded from the standard room for an extra $15 USD and were absolutely satisfied. Great amenities that all work, great shower with real water pressure and terrific helpful English speaking staff. Definitely would stay here again!

Room Tip: If you upgrade to Superior, get a corner room at the back of the hotel. (Bigger, with two windows a...

This hotels lobby was amazing. It's like a hotel from 80 years ago. The staff were very helpful they arranged a tour guide and driver to show us around the beautiful country side and the room was beautifully furnished. The only downside was that breakfast was across the road. Otherwise my stay was very pleasant.

We spent 2 nights at Hotel du Parc. It's a lovely old French styled place which has been carefully renovated. The rooms are big with high ceilings which gives a sense of space. We had a room overlooking the street, so we could watch the action of the town below. It was also opposite Dalat's answer to the Eiffel Tower! It's a 5-10 minute walk into town and about 20 mins from the Crazy House (really worth a visit). We were pleased with our stay at Hotel du Parc and would stay again.
