This is a hard climb with over 400 steps up the side of a hill but worth it as it has 360 degree views. Do the climb then cool off in the bay as water is refreshing at this time off year

Like all spots in Ha Long Bay, one will be far from lonely when visiting. From landing to leaving it is a column of tourists looking like a string of ants from a distance. The steps up are narrow and winding. They are for both the up and down traffic so they can be very crowded and sometimes one has to stop and wait for traffic to pass from the opposite direction. There are spots to step aside to rest if needed. Mid-way there is an opportunity to buy refreshments or souvenirs. The view from the top does give a good coverage of the islands and all the boats in attendance.

Titop Island of Halong Bay. In 1962, Ho Chi Minh together with the astronauts named Gherman Ti Top visited the island. Because of this unknown island, Uncle Ho ate friendship between Vietnam and Russia. And of course, all of them praised the decision. The name "Ti Top" exist from this day.

We climbed to the top of Ti Top to fully enjoy stunning views of the bay from above. From the top of the mountain overlooking the Ti Top beach.

Brought here as part of a cruise of Ha Long Bay. I should have stayed on the boat. The beach itself is small, crowded, and actually charges you to sit in lounge chairs (although I suppose otherwise you won't ever get one). It's all of three minutes to walk around unless you head up the stairs for the viewpoint. Hint: everyone is heading that way. Honestly if given the choice, stay on the boat.

I’m sure the island in itself is fine but was incredibly hard to enjoy. There were Chinese Tourists absolutely everywhere and on the way to the view point (the path is steep and not very wide) the Chinese would shove you to get pass and just had 0 manners at all. The view at the look out was beautiful but you were fighting to get even a single photo in due to the amount of people.overall the island is over rated.
