Thank you so much Ty, V and all the others. We had a great time in the lucky hotel! Cheap, clean and most of all great staff. Ask Ty for the tour, he'll take you to some sick places, including a little local coffee shop with egg coffee for 15k. Highly recommended :)

This was a cheap hotel, which is good for people on a budget. It was clean, the beds were nice and the staff was very friendly. The location is good, with the cathedral just around the corner. It's a 10 minute walk to the Lake and Old Quarter, making our daily expeditions a breeze. Highly recommended!

Really nice rooms with good price. The staff have been incredible helpful and really fun to hang around with. Very easy to book traveling and trips though reception. Definitely would recommend staying here with these great people

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in May because I got terrible heat stroke and needed a cool room to stay in. I was booked in to stay at the backpackers just down the alley but I wanted my own room without any other people in it. As I walked down the alley from the backpackers I noticed the lucky hotel and asked immediately if I could see the room to ensure it had air conditioning. It did and it was wonderful. The room came with a stocked minibar, a tiny balcony and my own ensuite which was really nice considering I had been staying elsewhere without that luxury. The room was so affordable at $18US per night. The room was also very clean with lovely cool tiled floors. The wifi service was excellent and the staff were really lovely. I was placed in the first room from the staircase on the street side which was perfect especially carrying luggage as there are no lifts if you're on the top floor so you would have to drag everything up the stairs. Admittedly I did get a lot of noise in my room from the streets but the air con did drown a lot of it out. The hotel is placed well to visit the church, the lake and the markets but there are so many little shops and things to see on the way and hidden cafes so I recommend you doing one of the free walking tours of Hanoi. The hotel also offers free breakfast but I didn't have this so I can't provide a review. It was also handy that they had an anz machine on their front doorstep so I had no issues getting access to money or feeling not secure getting money out on the street here. I would definitely stay here again.

We only stayed here for 1 night, after Halong Bay. We wish we found this hotel sooner, for the beginning of our Hanoi stay! Great location down a vibey little street, near the Cathedral. My favourite area in Hanoi! The rooms are very spacious, clean and pretty, with a balcony. The shower's water pressure and flow wasn't the best but it was positioned so that it didn't go on the toilet, which was a nice change. And the bed and pillows were a bit hard but overall, this is an excellent hotel!! Great price and the staff are very friendly, professional and accommodating! Especially the lady, she made sure we were comfortable, that we got an earlier breakfast before our flight and a private van to the airport, which was also cheaper. Highly recommend!
