Pavilion hotel is an ok hotel. Ok for just a place to rest your head. We stayed here in between trips. Our first night we arrived around 1am in the morning and there was a hive of activity outside in nearby bars. We were greeted by a lovely receptionist on the night shift who took the time to explain to us where we were on the local map and asked if we needed anything. Then it was up to our twin room. It faced the street. I realised the window was ajar and closed it - only to hear pretty much the same level of noise as before. The room was #301.

We left for Ha Long Bay the next morning so managed about 3-4 hours sleep. Luckily we were armed with ear plugs! When we came back from ha long we got a different room - #203 this had no window and fortunately no noise! The next day we were off to SaPa, due to the early pick up they were not able to provide us with breakfast. when we got back from SaPa we got the same room. The day time receptionist wasn’t as friendly towards us. This is an ok hotel if you do not plan to speed much time here. Breakfast was so so. Linen was clean. They provided toothbrushes and free shower gel. They could do with having bigger towels. But overall good value for the price we paid

Duong is very personable and friendly. She gave excellent advice on places to visit in Hanoi.
Comfortable, airy rooms with views over picturesque Ma May Street.
Breakfast is good. Convenient location and easy access to tourist spots. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my stay here, the rooms were good value for money, clean and social with big lockers. Very close to all of the bars and restaurants. Duong was very helpful on reception and speaks good English too :)

Great hotel with all the amenities one requires. Fridge, air con, breakfast etc. Staff is super helpful. Look forward to seeing Duong again especially. Rooms are clean and there is a maid service daily. Will definitely stay here again.
