Description: An authentic Italian restaurant on a beautiful location on banks of West Lake. The restaurant has been established since 2010. It is extremely popular with local residents, business people and families. Ideal place for tasting authentic Italian fare such as pizzas, pastas, risotto, and lot more. We believe in traditions. All food is cooked in traditional Italian style. Even the oven we use for baking pizzas, is traditional Italian oven, fired by wood, to give it the unique natural taste that is difficult to find in other modern pizzeria. Our customers, many of whom have been with us since the start, have been our best critics, and have always told us about what they really think about the changes we make. This is because they feel it is their place as well as ours.

I have gone back to Da Paolo a second time as I was yearning for some gnocchi.
Without a shadow of a doubt it is the finest in all of Hanoi - and I have been hunting far and wide.

The gnocchi is as real as you will get. It is fashioned in the same way your Nonna might of made in Italy.
Whether you are Italian or not, I will say one thing - if it’s hand made gnocchi you are chasing, then this is the place you need to get to. I hooked onto the gnocchi with ragout lightly dusted with some parmesan - yummo.
Positioned right on Westlake, this roomy, two story restaurant is just the place to park for the night.
For sure it can cater for an intimate affair or large groups. I did not book on the night we went, and just rocked up. Service is good, no doubt about it.
The wine list is a little challenging though, albeit a little confusing it does take a bit of navigating to find what you are looking for. It is a bit like a dogs breakfast - all over the place.
Don’t let that deter you.
The menu caters for everyone and no stone is left unturned in terms of menu options.
I look forward to going again.

Burrata, phagiolini, pomodorini e speck Burrata is a freshly made mozzarella cheese and cream, with a thick mozzarella on the outside and a slightly fresh, but super-fragrant mixture inside. This dish is served with tomatoes and speck is a piece of smoked meat. Cut a piece of cheese for the strips of meat, roll it with grilled beans are really awesome freaking! Salty meat mixed with the fresh fatty cheese with the sưeetness of grilled vegetables is “easily-burst-into-tear” delicious. However, the meat is too salty to eat so much

...Ordered our food and 2 bottles of red wine. The waitress opens the first bottle, asked us to taste it.. It's terrible, vinegar flavored, totally out of date. we ask to change it. She pretends she doesnt speak English. Manager comes. She can't understand.. google translate, she got confused... In the end we wanted to keep the bottle, losing the battle..

the staff got passive aggressive after that. Throwing plates, grabbing knives & fork from our table without giving a notice.

Seafood Pizza, hold the slice up, all the ingredients fall on the plate. First time I had to eat pizza with Ketchup , due to the no flavor pizza. bad pizza bad food bad service bad atmosphere.. and this restaurant is just as expensive as the best Pizza restaurant in town (which is 4ps) ...

Here for a business trip and happened upon this restaurant on Trip Advisor. Wines were wonderful, beautiful setting for a couple or business traveler. Staff was delightful. Charcuterie board was well done and olive flight worth trying!
