This museum is well worth a visit although, a little out of town and a taxi recommended. All the information for the artefacts are in English. They have several houses erected in the grounds which are well worth looking round. If you are there at 16.00hrs there is a fantastic water puppet show with live music. The restaurant is set up to help disadvantaged children to learn useful skills in the work place. The souvenir shop is also worth a visit.

Often a busy place with mostly tourists. There is not much to view inside but the reproductions of ethnic houses are interesting. The snack shop offered cool treats.

We were lucky enough to have a tough guide who was a tune to us and had excellent English. Visiting this place gave us a great introduction to Vietnam and it's people. One can feel the passion of the locals and realise that the diversity of its people makes them unique. Would be a bit uncomfortable to visit in the summer as there isn't proper AC here. It's small enough to walk through and get a good understanding. A nice experience

The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology highlights the diverse number of people that have contributed to the making of Vietnam as it is today. It is fascinating to wander through this journey in time and people. From the indoor displays to the full size buildings out side. A great place to learn of the people of Vietnam.

Spent a few hours here walking round the exhibits, as well as the outdoor area displaying traditional Vietnamese houses. Whilst it is a lot to take in with so much info, spending a few hours here is worth it to learn more about Vietnam, and the water puppet show was fun to watch!
