Its often difficult to find attraction that appeals to the whole family. Kids loved exploring the grounds and the houses of the different tribes the most. Inside displays were interesting too. One of the best things we did in Vietnam. There is a little kids room right at the top of the building where kids can play some traditional games and do some stamping. Spent a good few hours here and really loved it.

Interesting and well elaborated exhibits covering the many ethnic groups of Vietnam. Exhibitions are labeled in Vietnamese, English, and French. There is also an extensive outdoor exhibition area with traditional houses and funereal structures, as well as a water puppet theatre.

This museum shows the large number of different ethnic tribes which constitute Vietnam. Whilst it is of some interest, there is a lot about the different costumes and textiles and different house types.

The best place to know Vietnam's traditions, culture and minorities - you need only 1-2 hours (depend of you) to get a lot of information for example about minorities lives in Vietnam. Great maps and photos.

The area of this museum is quite big
The museum shows information about traditional Vietnamese ways of life, from religious events to the symbolic rituals of all the Vietnamese ethnic groups. . The outdoor display area exhibits a variety of Vietnamese homes as full-scale replicas, with varying architectural styles , there is full replica of traditional water puppet theatre ..interesting...
