Service was fantastic - although we had a delayed arrival (after midnight) we were met with welcoming smiles, an icy cold fruit juice and cut fruit. Fantastic buffet breakfast with a great variety of delicious foods served in the restaurant upstairs with a view to the lake. We used the hotel as a base and made trips to Sapa and Halong Bay from here, organised by the manager, Kelvin. A member of staff even accompanied us to the station to install us in the right carriage for the overnight train trip to Sapa. We were in touch with the manager via WhatsApp while away, so if any problems arose (they didn't) we knew we would have them sorted by him. Each time we came back to the hotel we were warmly greeted - it was like coming home! Great location for exploring the old quarter, a short walk to the lake and just around the corner from the water puppets. All the staff here are exceptional - very gracious, warm, efficient and give every attention to detail. They say they are passionate about offering the best hospitality possible, and they do just that. We could not recommend this gem of a hotel more enthusiastically. It outshines many hotels in a more expensive category and the hospitality skills of Kelvin, Grace, Jasmine, Anna, Daniel, Ken and the other 11 people in the team, both front of house and behind the scenes, are exceptional! (Go the chef!! 10/10!)

Room Tip: All rooms are comfortable. A room with a street view is good for watching the passing parade. Street...

We travelled in a group of 8 people and were delighted with the hotel service and staffs. They were so attentive and detail with their customer needs. 6 star service for their staff!
We had 4 different types of room and I was particularly delighted with the room 101 as it was bigger and spacious than others.
So bravo to the team.. Grace for helping me through my reservation and tour booking. Housekeeping team, thanks for the lovely towel decoration with different design everyday. It really make my day! Reception and bellboy, thanks for helping me out with my 101 requests and enquiries.

A nice, cozy hotel in the city centre with wonderful and very friendly staff. Rooms are clean and have everything you need. Excellent breakfast, with traditional and western savoury dishes.
Highly recommend.

I chose this hotel based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and Agoda. It proved to be a great choice. The team Grace, Thomas and Jasmine from the welcome drink and throughout our stay were excellent. It's in a great location for the Ho Kiem lake and exploring the old quarter.
Breakfast on the 8th floor is freshly cooked with a wide choice. Only negative is we booked a room with a City View. Whilst it provides an airy light room, we found the traffic noise and constant horns stopped us sleeping our first night. When we mentioned this in the morning, we were immediately offered an alternative junior suite which did not overlook the busy road at no extra cost. We also found the hotel to be flexible on prices of tours and transfers to match better deals. Would highly recommend and stay again

I stayed here in three different rooms in the course of a week. I love it! The staff are absolutely the sweetest and most helpful people!

This is a great choice to stay in this area (and this is an excellent area of Hanoi to stay!). The price is not inexpensive for Vietnam, however you really will get what you pay for. Some of the more expensive rooms here are really lovely. A few of the cheaper, smaller rooms are just average but very clean and well maintained. The bathroom is excellent and very clean. Some of the small rooms have a very nice bathtub. The bed was wonderful- I wish I had this same bed at home! I can’t speak highly enough. The breakfast is outstanding- probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had.

The check-in process takes a little too long and I’m not sure why. I am a solo traveler and it took probably 10 minutes. I tend to like to rush in and out when I can. They use a bar to lock the door at night so if you want to come and go after around 1AM you have to be very quiet or you will wake the doorman..

A very solid choice for a couple who want to share the cost of the larger rooms.
