Returning to Hue City, one of the things we looked forward to was staying at the Morin Hotel. We stayed for 12 days on this trip and enjoyed every one. The staff makes everything special. The historic hotel is truly elegant and comfortable. Breakfast has a variety of delicious options. The river view room provides splendid views of the Perfume River and Walking Street day and night. And the 100 year old almond tree covering the inner courtyard is a sight to see! We are pleased that we returned, and we will again!

This hotel truly epitomises a grande dame of the French Colonial era, from the reception area to the courtyard where we enjoyed a superb breakfast. Our room was of grand proportions, with a divider between the sleeping area and a sitting area, all tastefully decorated with art work (silk embroideries) and vases, complimentary fresh fruit was left in our sitting room each day. The courtyard was a wonderful peaceful area, the sound of the fountain adding to the atmosphere. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. The pool was not intended for doing serious laps, but certainly a welcome reprieve from the heat of the day.

This is one of Asia’s classic hotels with an interesting past. Built in a colonial style it offers a quiet haven in the centre of Hue. A courtyard design means that the bar, restaurant and pool area are nicely contained within the property. Although the breakfast is hailed by many, including The Australian, as one of the best in the region I, and others, are wondering what exactly it’s USP is! The choice and quality is really no different from numerous hotels we have visited. The food otherwise is mostly very acceptable but only that. Rooms are enormous and comfortable with excellent bathrooms. We certainly enjoyed our stay despite the hype!

I had a pleasant stay and great breakfast everyday time staying there. Nice garden for breakfast and event.
Long time run hotel but well maintained.
Good location: in the city center, in front of the famous bridge. Easy to access.

Lovely, historic hotel--very similar to the Continental and the Majestic in Saigon. Beautiful room with dark wood floors.Hallways have windows open to the courtyard. I've stayed here twice in different years in different rooms and each time, the shower head was a bit wonky, but that's okay. Overall, this is a lovely place to stay. Eating breakfast outside is an experience not to be missed. Nice pool. This hotel perfectly represents the beauty and character of Hue. Within walking distance of the Citadel and bars/restaurants.
