I have a unique story. I'm from the United States and my father was born in a village in Shariatpur. I wanted to try to locate the house he was born in. Even though it's quite a journey (close to 3 hours) by car from the hotel in Dhaka, the transportation director Hasan was able to find a driver who works for the hotel (Sumon) to do some research into where the village was, so that he was confident he could get me there. Amazingly, we got to the town (after asking some rickshaw drivers where it was), and then once in the town, by speaking to the elderly locals, were able to identify both the house my father was born in, as well as the house his uncle lived in. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and they went the extra mile to make this happen. It would have been easy for them to site why they couldn't do it (it was really quite difficult, navigationally and putting the hotel car through those village roads), but they really worked to make sure a dream of mine came true.

I've been a volunteer for the biggest event Bangladesh has ever hosted which is ICPC world finals. So, I was here as the hotel volunteer and I enjoyed my time a lot. As I was mostly posted in the lobby, I thought it would be tougher to get by but the ambience which Westin offered were spectacular. The lobby, the smoking zone everything was just perfect and also the room we were given was super comfy and the room service was also good. The food we had was world class, so the duty was much easier thanks to the service I received from the Westin, I'd suggest everyone choose here if they ever have to choose any perfect 5 star hotels for staying in.

The environment is excellent. The staff behaviour like they are friendly, smart, well mannered. In Sha Allah in future i will suggest to arrange any event in here. I also got the chance to eat the buffet food amd it was sobtasty. Much recommend.
