Arrived at Brunei airport expecting to be picked up for airport transfer to hotel but no one was there! Rang up hotel and apparently they forgot as driver was sick! I think often of one office manager ended picking us up - very friendly and apologetic. Hotel is very clean, service friendly and maintenance guy were quick to fix a few things that was broken - especially inability to connect to WiFi! Within walking distances to shops, night market and samoan that takes us around Kampung Ayer. Will recommend this place as only blot on the stay was the airport pickup and WiFi not working the first day.

Pleasant 1 night stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Packed breakfast can be arranged for early morning check out.
Location - near bus station for buses to/from ferry terminal.
And make it your starting point if you plan to do the Heritage walk.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my family. The hotel looks modern but it's a bit dark in the room. The toilet was so spacious. The breakfast buffet was good. It's a walking distance to restaurants and other point of interest. The only downside was the wifi connection it was so slow and the connection was unstable.

The hotel is modern, squeezed among buildings so that the rooms are very dark as you face the next building few meters away. You need the light on all day and lights are not even bright. The rooms are small but they have complimentary water and tea/coffee and a safe. The bathroom is small but new, very dimly lit too, not ideal for shaving or make-up. There is a hair dryer. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were not (too hard and thick) but when I asked they provided me with a better one.
Wifi was a little difficult to achieve but after some calls and different passwords it worked beautifully.
The location is excellent: in full center, near the river, at walking distance from the main sights and from restaurants.
Breakfast is average. There was an egg post but nobody there to prepare eggs.

Room Tip: Ask if there is a room facing the main road and the canal

Comfortable room with tea and coffee facilities & fridge. I found the room lighting subdued with lighting only from the bedside table lamp, floor lamp and entrance ceiling light. It is close to the river and sights even though I find the city pretty quiet.
