There is almost no public transport in Brunei, even taxi! However, the hotel provides free pickup and drop off services from and to the airport. Besides, they can take you to attractions at a reasonable price. Staffs are very helpful and the hotel is clean and tidy. The Delifrance located at G floor saved our life during the fasting month.

Room Tip: wifi in Brunei is slow

After check-in, I never had to call or meet any of the hotel staff for any requirements, till I checked out. Breakfast and Wi-Fi - the staple diet of the business traveler was available without any disturbance.

I'm not sure in other hotel but here this is the best in BSB. Friendly staff and great breakfast meal with affordable price. Strategic location and easy to find (its my first time going to Brunei and I don't even use GPS). Parking also free. Will surely come again and stay here again next time.

Happy Ramadhan to all Badiah Hotel's Management and Staffs.

All the basics covered. Room a good size but bathroom cramped and awkwardly laid out. About 15 mins to walk into town. I was shown a walking route that took me through the water village which made for a pleasant amble. Has a market/ supermarket right next door. Free airport transfers were good although I did have to hunt for the driver for 10 mins when I arrived. Overall I liked that this isn't a big chain hotel and had a friendly small place feel

Stayed here for one night too many recently and am appalled at the reviews saying its a great place! Makes a mockery of Trip Advisor! We arrived very late, having driven non stop for nearly 8 hours. By the time we were showered and ready for bed it was almost 2am. We were not impressed to find filthy dirty used sheets on the bed, so had an uncomfortable night sleeping on the top cover as we were too exhausted to make a fuss and pack everything up, and change rooms. As said by other customers, the towels were threadbare and grubby. The room was large - and being told we were upgraded because the room we booked had been given away, was exciting, but this executive room needed attention, as the cheap laminated floor was lifting, and the walls clinically white. The bed headboard was covered in bodily stains and grease. The whole bedroom experience - upgraded or not, was rubbish! The breakfast was weird - strictly 2 eggs per customer - except there was only 3 eggs left when we went! I counted 4 couples, and when the hotel manager came for his breakfast, with other staff, he didn't acknowledge any one of the guests. In fact, to be fair, I told him about our room, and his response was that we were upgraded. So what? I still expect clean sheets and a certain level of service. The room prices were not good value for money, when you get such a sub standard service like this.

Room Tip: Stay elsewhere!

Dear Guest,

Greetings from Badi'ah Hotel!

Thank you for all the comments, we would certainly like to clarify all issues with you.

We would have greatly appreciated if you had notified our managers on duty that the bed sheets and towels were threadbare and grubby when you check-in. we will do our best to improve the situation and will conduct a dry cleaning for the whole room and refurbish them in the near future.

Regarding the breakfast, you may ask for extra eggs if you would like to eat more and i am sure my colleague from the restaurant will be more that happy to serve you more than 2 eggs upon request.

We are really sorry for the inconvenience caused during your stay. we are really trying to give all our guests a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Looking forward to having you with us soon again.

Kind regards,

Darren
