The only problem with me were: there was some ants in the room and the bedding seemed clean but had some hairs stuck to it. I just hope they were changing sheets. Otherwise, some good things about this hotel: It is nice that they have a complimentary pick-up. They do have wi-fi with reasonable speed but it gets disconnected time to time. Room facing away from the street (back side) is quiet but room feels a bit dark. Shower water pressure is good and room is very spacious. The fridge works well. The breakfast selection is not that great but you can have 2 eggs. The restaurant on the ground floor is quite useful when you don't have time to go outside to eat, but there are plenty of restaurant choices within 5~10min walk. Big grocery store is right behind the hotel. This hotel is very accessible to the highway and not so congested area so you can get to anywhere very fast.

Room Tip: Avoid the 3rd floor room facing the prayer room of the building behind which can be uncomfortable to...

Stayed here with family in December 2017. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport (about a 15 minute journey). The lobby is small and looks a bit tired. Bear in mind that this is not an international hotel (there is only one in the city). The staff were generally polite but not not very informative about things to do or places to eat. There is a restaurant in the hotel but we were told it is open only for breakfast. There appeared to no other eating places nearby and so we were forced to eat in a small budget place on the ground floor which was ok but had no atmosphere. We had 2 rooms and they were clean, comfortable and of reasonable size. However we experienced problems with fluctuating water temperature in the showers. We tried he breakfast the following morning. The food was of poor quality and there was little choice. There is a pool within the hotel but it is very small. Overall we were disappointed with the experience and would not choose this hotel again.

I can not impress upon the you how great this hotel is for a relaxing stay in Brunei. This was my 3rd year in a row that I have had the privilege of making this my base during my stay.

The staff at the Badi'ah are top class A++++. From the time you are collected at the airport, to the time they drop you off, you are treated like family.Concierge, Reception, Housekeeping, Restaurant staff are all superb. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Complimentary newspaper to read while having breakfast is a bonus.

Speaking of breakfast, you can't go past their exquisite array of irresistible delights that are offered each day. I over-eat but only because I can't stay away from the Asian buffet. Eggs are cooked to your preference and are great.

After brekkie I always go down and have the best iced coffee in Brunei at the Kafe Bristodeli. Actually, I tend to have most lunches and dinners there also. The staff are predominantly Filipino and are a delight. They are also fast, efficient and always so friendly. The food is also great, and the Chef goes out of his/her way to make any changes for their customers.

Location, location, location. There is now a shortcut from the village to the City.- the Sultan Omar'Ali Saifuddien Pedestrian Bridge is the best thing thing ever. Takes you straight to the Yayasan Complex. This takes about 10 minutes off the long way around past AG's and the Bomba. A warning though, apparently the little mischievous monkeys are something to watch out for - they aren't cute at all!!!!

The Badi'ah is also within walking distance of the perfectly manicured Istana and other sites of interest. The complex also boasts the most restaurants in the proximity, and you are spoiled by the numerous shops and supermarkets. There is alo the Utama Bowling Alley, and, wait for it - a Jollibee and KFC.

Buses are very frequent and are a massive BND$1 each trip - breaks the bank ha ha ha .

Basically the whole country is a delight to visit. This was actually my 5th visit (stayed twice at the Radisson). The Badi'ah is the best though and thoroughly recommended.

I could go on and on, bnut I think you get the drift of what I am saying.

Once again, Thanks Darren and staff. See you in 2018. Atoy and Amin - stay cool Brothers...

Room Tip: Rooms on the city side are preferred, but the traffic doesn't affect too greatly.

A hotel located not far from the city center. Friendly staff, offers shuttle service and responsive to your needs. Behind the hotel, about 5-10 minutes walk is a supermarket where visitors can buy food etc The room is cozy. Overall the hotel is clean and hospitable.

Spent several nights here exploring Brunei and BSB. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and very comfortable (we reserved the "suites" on the top floor).

Breakfast, while adequate, wasn't anything spectacular.

Short walk to the "mall" behind the hotel where there are several restaurants, two grocery stores, and a hardware store.

Bus stop right in front of the hotel makes getting from/to downtown easy. For those who want to walk, go out of the hotel toward the traffic circle. On the other side you'll see the construction project for the new footbridge. The bridge is finished. The area around it is still rather rough and can be muddy (watch out for monitor lizards-we saw two!) but walk through it to the bridge and you're at the mosque downtown in no time!

A group of us stayed here for a short business trip. The location was no more than 20 minutes to the various meetings we had which meant we were able to cover a lot of ground in a short period. Also as it is very familiar to the locals we were able to hold some meetings in the hotel itself. There is a cafe in the lobby which served us well as a meeting venue.

Rooms were spacious and had good pillows (for me I prefer slightly firm) which is vital for me to get a good night's sleep.

Just a couple of minor points to note for management:

1/ change the elevator music to more than just one tune
2/ the shower trap is not quite water tight so the bathroom can end up becoming a wading pool. I had to stuff the spare towel underneath the shower door.

Room Tip: Don't take a room facing the front i.e. main road as there is a hospital opposite unless you lik...
