The Centrepoint Hotel
Reviewed 22 December 2017

Stayed here on route from Melbourne to Ho Chi Minh City. Airport pick up and drop off was prompt and helpful. Driver very helpful with luggage and waited patiently for an hour. Hotel was clean, spacious and friendly. Concierge help with luggage would have been nice. Fridge was empty. Had to pay to stock it. Nothing in the room was complimentary.
The Seasons restaurant where breakfast was served was excellent with wide choice of cuisine.

OK hotel near to airport. Busy area with lots of shops and restaurants.
Room was basic and wifi worked though not too fast. Hotel is a bit run down and bath/shower not suitable for older people as to get into the tub for a shower was a pretty high step. Stayed just 1 night on transit. Fine for short stay.

Book the room from the hotel website , check in was a breeze on 14 October 2017 into Junior Suite 453. Room is clean, spacious and comfortable except the television remote control and safebox are not in working order!! . In the Season's Coffee House, breakfast is good, staff are attentive with excellent service even though it is very busy with a full house occupancy. The wireless connection is not strong at all , it cuts off intermittently during our stay here. Rather annoying is that the Front Desk seems to control the number of users for this free facility. They could do better !!!!

this hotel is smack in the center of the city. ideal if you want to go to the night market and their "new" mall.

reception desk is very helpful when we needed assistance on hailing a cab and also on storing our luggages after checkout time.

i would definitely recommend staying here

Had a pleasant 4 days stay in a deluxe room of the hotel. Very clean and well kept room. Even the toilet were filled with toiletries. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were well spread with good food. You can also find other shops/restsurant should you like to taste other food or fastfood. Staff were all more friendly.and helpful. Surrounding were also good. Only a 10 / 15 mins well to the Mall or to Rizkun Hotel.
Worth the stay there.

Located close to 'The Mall', a central shopping district in Gadong, BSB, The Centrepoint provided a suitable location for undertaking business activities in the area, while also offering varied restaurant options within close proximity. Unfortunately the benefits derived from staying at the Centrepoint barely extended beyond this.

The rooms, while spacious and providing all the necessary furniture for one to relax, were poorly maintained, and housekeeping services limited. Despite requesting a 'double bed' in advance, I was provided two single beds - a curse for anyone taller than 6ft. My frustration was further exacerbated when, after speaking to housekeeping about room options, and a solution 'reached', the staff came to my room and [literally] pushed the two beds together. No bedding change was deemed necessary, and I was left to sprawl across the two beds, a single-bed sheet draped across me.

At no time during my one-week stay were bedding or sheets changed, and - while the staff were welcoming - the facilities themselves were seen to be dirt-ridden and mouldy.

I'm definitely one to appreciate the limitations in services provided in countries around the world, this left one wanting.
