Selapak has a great and very welcoming team. Very professional and knowledgeable crew. Discovering Apsara & Yukathun Khom (I even know how to write it now) through Sen & Rothana makes it an unforgettable experience.

Whether it's the Khmer art of Apsara Dancing or Yutakun Khom (Khmer martial art). Train with top Khmer dancer Sen and Chan Rothana one of the best fighters Cambodia has to offer fighting in ONEFC Championship. Whether you are a tourist wanting a taste of real Khmer culture or living in Cambodia and wanting to really get to know the fighting / dancing technics, not to mention getting awfully fit along the way. This is the place to go in Phnom Penh.

I took private classes as well as joined the group beginner class for an introduction to the Khmer martial art. You get to train with top talented fighters as easy or hard as you want. The group class was with expats, visiting fighters, and some local guys working on their skills. Selapak is trying to keep ancient Khmer arts alive by teaching them to locals and visitors. How cool is it to see live what is depicted on Angkor Wat.

A trip to Selapak is an uplifting way to experience Phnom Penh and a great way to balance out a trip to the Killing Fields or S21.

Tip: call or email ahead of time to reserve a private or group.

I was there at the opening and can tell that the concept has been well thought.
Either you want to be initiated to Apsara dance or to Yuthakun Khom technics, you will find your way.
You can be regular member for class room or just visit the place as a tourist to enjoy an initiation or a demonstration.
Prices are smooth, teachers always smiling and caring you.
Definitely a must go in Phnom Penh!
