This is a review of the food served at this hotel.

Had fish and chips. Not good. Fish batter thick and soggy just under the skin, fish itself was a bad kind of flaky (I know good fish and chips will flake off, but in a good way, can't describe it. This was not it).

Chips not crunchy.

2 stars is only for the atmosphere which was chilled and relaxed. No stars for food.

Very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your meal. We are often praised for the quality of our food and if, on rare occasions, someone is not satisfied, we do everything in our power to rectify the situation. It is a pity that you did not bring this to the attention of our management when you were in house, so that we would have had the opportunity to rectify your situation.

We watched Feynoord v Ajax. We got in touch the day before the game. They said yes and even called a couple of local expats to join as well. We arrived early and had a swim in the wonderful pool area. It is busy on the weekend as expats come to pool area with established garden.

The european food was very good both in quality and value. I would visit again.

Hidden behind a high brick wall, 3Mangos is deceptive. Inside is a spacious outdoor area with a well maintained swimming pool and both open air and covered dining areas.

The menu contains a wide selection of traditional English/Australian pub food -- burgers, schnitzels, sausages, a selection of home made English-style pies, ribs, pizzas, and a small but tasty selection of Khmer dishes.

Be warned though. These are not Khmer size portions, despite the prices indicating that they might be undersized.

All meal portions are what you would expect in a British or Australian pub, but considerably cheaper. More importantly they all have the taste, flavour, and texture of what you would expect.

Excellent value and the owner, his wife, and staff are very attentive. A good, reliable, and consistent venue.

Had a great time at the three mangoes something for everyone of all ages. It was our first time staying there as a couple but my mum and brother have been before and recommended it. Eden and his family were very welcoming, room was clean and tidy and the comedy show was a lot of fun! Food was really good offering British and Khmer dishes. Would recommended this place to stay or even if you are just passing by and want some food/drinks!

Where do I even begin with some of the previous reviews I have read on 3M ?

Clearly some people should not leave the safety of their living rooms and certainly NOT for the edgy frontier that ( once was ) Cambodia...or South East Asi in general.

3M is perfect for families that are traveling on a budget , want a reasonable room, good tucker , internet, pool and want their kids to meet local kids ( yes,...expats visit with their kids to swim and the owner has lovely boys and extended Khmer family kids ) whilst they have a few of the coldest beers in town. NO...your room might no be perfect and yes, you might have to ask for an extra towel etc but if you get room 4 like we did, you are paying $30 off season for a room with two doubles and a sofa bed ! That is 6 people !

NO - if u if want peace and serenity and 400 thread sheets and dunlopillow and lemon scented slippers etc, bugger off and go somewhere else.

3M is unique experience where you can meet some locals, stay cheap and if u r lucky, score some loose poker games. It does not try to be something it is not and that is its attraction. It is Family run and friendly.
